Been trying to figure out what summing mod and reverse polarity are when looking at your products and what they do. May you explain to a dummy like me please? Just want to make sure I future proof myself when wanting to have a w/d/w rig or full true stereo.

Does this bring instrument level up to line level on the xlr? (I.e. if I have a stereo analog reverb AFTER my modeler, would I want something like this or would an active di like a Goodwood Longline be more what I’m looking for?) Thanks for any help and great video!

Thanks for the reply! Yes, it would bring everything up to line level. It works like a standard DI in the sense that it will convert your unbalanced 1/4” cables to XLR but unlike a DI which usually has a lot of signal loss, it maintains the higher line level into your FOH console or interface. This is one of the reasons it is much better suited to boards with a modeler somewhere in the mix.
