Hi David from Spain! I have been riding with this potentiometer since January 2020, many hours, and the potentiometer is fantastic, great. I am very happy! But, now, the battery only provide me 3-4hours functioning, that means, the internal litium battery life is finishing. Do you know how can be such batteries replaced?, can be done easy? may you show it? Thanks in advance My impression is that it can not do it without sending the cranks to the supplier, am I wrong?

I’m also having big trouble with this PM on my 2021 TCR advanced pro rim bike. Firm ware and calibration work with Ride Link but the the calibration is set to 0 torque as there’s no spin down required to calibrate like wahoo does with the kickr.. I find it odd you don’t need to pedal to calibrate the power pro. When I then sync it to my wahoo bolt the watts are all over the place. I even tried recalibrating it on the bolt as once it’s paired you can recalibrate it there. Giant needs to do a bit better with providing tutorials on the proper way to calibrate and sync with supportive devices. Love my TCR though.
@DavidParkinson3 жыл бұрын
Having nothing but trouble with this PM - came on my Pro 1 Disc . Consistently under reading, and not by a few watts, but by about half the watts I would expect. No amount of firmware updates (from the absolutely garbage app) and calibration changes things. I’m riding between 17 and 18mph and average watts never goes over 60 with zero readings for most of the ride unless you really get up on the cranks. It’s a massive shame because it is why I chose this bike over a slightly cheaper Defy. So far emails to RM Cycles and Giant getting nowhere. 🤷🏻♂️
