Hi Dude, I have one query before studying PowerBI. I have 3 years of experience in Oracle plsql and I completed the machine learning course on last year but I couldn't pursue my career as DS due to some personal reasons. Now I'm planning to move forward to Canada for higher studies it completely takes next 2 years of my life. Now my Query is: At the end of 2022 PowerBI will be on the market leader or Tableu will be standalone on the top? Based on the statics I can choose either I have to start to study Tableu or PowerBI Also, I have an idea to start working as freelancer during my free time. If I choose tableu or powerBI which one suits me to work without much hesitations. Please provide me the clarity regarding this so far I will begin my next path with 100% confindently. #Thanks in advance

Hi @lachulax, I can understand your confusion. Firstly, we cannot able to provide preference either one tool because each tool has it's own feature and fan base. When you take Microsoft Power BI, If you want to learn it, you need to catch up other Microsoft products like Power Apps, Power Flow, Power Automate and following by bit of Azure. Microsoft Power BI is relatively easy to learn but the catch is DAX Expression where almost most of the people will struggle to understand it. Now, there are few external tools you can learn also like DAX Studio, Tabular Editor and more. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jZfSdpilop51sJo When you choose Tableau, it's the standalone Master in Business Intelligence space where people goes to Tableau for Big Data Analysis. Tableau is acquired by Salesforce last year and has lot of potential now. Tableau has separate Tableau server to host Tableau workbooks i.e., There is another opportunity in Tableau for Tableau Administrator along with Tableau developer. Tableau has separate product stack like Tableau Desktop, Tableau Online, Tableau server, Tableau Data Management, Tableau prep, Tableau Server Management and more. Tableau is extremely flexible. For Freelance, Each tools has it's own problem to solve for lot of people's. In Power BI, you will get lot of DAX projects. In Tableau, you will get mix of projects. I prefer you to take a week time to look at Power BI Tutorials and Tableau Tutorials to see what is your catch. And Choose one tool to learn! By the way, A for Analytics university course in Microsoft Power BI and Tableau live courses for life time access including support to How to do Freelance in part time.
