In this battle I face another leaderboard player, ans1050. He brings forth a squadron of elite attacking Pokémon, but unfortunately for him, they have difficulty breaking through my defensive walls.

I wouldn’t run cradily IMO very exploitable since it’s very slow and any taunt user like lando-T shuts it down immediately and it’s decent bulk isn’t helping much since you don’t hit hard

Typically with a matchup like Landorus T, you can always switch out. It is ZU because not many people use it, but in the right hands, it can be an effective check to dangerous Pokémon like Kyogre thanks to storm drain. Gastrodon can arguably achieve a similar purpose but the best pick depends on what one's team needs. My recommendation still stands as Kyogre is on the majority of teams for Bronze Reformed so you get a lot of value out of it.

@@Blox-Bills The same argument can be made about many other defensive pokemon, my set in specific may be setup fodder but that is because I opted for utility.You can run leech seed and toxic if you want to get the optimal crippling setup.

@@wtjcgamingii2604If you wanted something that could cripple sweepers and set up stealth rock, Ferrothorn is such a better option with better typing, and both of its weaknesses becomes immunity’s by chandelure (If it has flash fire) and better chip with iron barbs to chip physical attackers and better defenses overall

@@Blox-Bills Ferrothorn may be as good but consider these: - You are comparing an OU Pokémon to a ZU pokemon. OU pokemon are everywhere in brick bronze and it gets boring, which is why I promote diversity and less used pokemon like Cradily that is never considered. - ferrothorn gets shut down easily by magnezone making it a liability against some teams - ferrothorn doesn’t have access to useful recovery If we are looking at Kyogre, both of them are effective checks with their own strengths and weaknesses
