This combined with people legitimately harassing him for things like not liking the 2012 Les Miserables movie stressed him out beyond what he could bear. I love his work, I admire his skill. I'd hate for people to miss out on it this close to Christmas! The digital ticket is only a rental but it's completely worth the $15, as the music is so damn good, the choreo is some of Starkid's best, the stories are heartwrenching and heartwarming, the acting is top notch, the video and audio quality is superb (it's a proper pro-shot, multiple cameras etc). I watched s2 before s1 and was so confused thinking "Are these episodes short? am I watching them wrong?" So I just finished s1 nightmare time and realised I should've watched them first as it felt lacklustre but realise the mini stories both the stories and lords in black mentions were mini debuts for the characters, the nightmare times reveal a character then they reapear and have more in depth story telling, like grace chastiy being mentioned, to being a character to then being the antagonist in Nerdy prudes. Even so this series now has me in a chokehold. Edit: Also the whole nightmare time is based on nostolgia taking childhood stories and giving the creepy twists or lots of references, like addams family, the ring, heathers etc. And I cannot believe the BILL and TED reference esp with the time travelling episode ugh Starkids amazing.

Gonna just put this here: Nick and Matt confirmed that NMT3 will happen if NMT2 has enough views, so it’s extra important that people see them, so thanks for making this video to spread the word! But on top of that, they actually released descriptions and titles for every episode. I’ll put them a bit further down if anyone wants to see them. Episode 1, Part 1: Bottle Imps Bill Woodward has been chosen to test out CCRP’s latest and greatest product; Bottle Imps. These reality-bending buddies will bring their owner the one thing they desire most. When his new imp, Lovely, brings him to his soulmate, Bill decides to use his magical companion to play matchmaker. But to help Charlotte find the man of her dreams, Bill will have to bend the imp’s rules. Rules he’s been warned, must never be broken… Episode 1, Part 2: Frankenruth Desperate to see a naked body, Ruth Fleming and Richie Lipschitz volunteer at the morgue of St. Damien’s Hospital. Their terrible plan becomes exponentially more terrible, when they become unwitting subjects in the experiments of the body-snatching madman, Doctor Laszlo, who claims to have conquered death itself. If Hatchetfield thought Ruth was bad before, then they will cower before the unspeakable horror of… Frankenruth! Episode 2, Part 1: Becky Barnes Climbed a Tree Becky Barnes is on top of the world! Not in a literal sense, of course. She’s deathly afraid of heights. After years of struggle, Becky’s life is finally everything she dreamed it would be. She’s engaged to her high school sweetheart, Tom Houston, and the two have a surprise baby on the way! But, as the couple prepare for the arrival of baby Marie, a shadow from Becky’s past returns to haunt them. Episode 2, Part 2: Devil’s Night Tim Houston has a crush. Unfortunately, it’s on his older, mature and totally cool babysitter, Grace Chasity, who he fears will never see him as anything but a snot-nosed little kid. But when a devilish maniac with murderous designs on Grace attacks Hatchetfield the night before Halloween, Tim must protect his beloved, or join the killer’s growing body count. It’s another slashing adventure on the night HE came home… Devil’s Night. (This is likely the finale of the “2,000’s teen horror trilogy” that includes Abstinence Camp and NPMD.) Episode 3 (Double Length): Miss Holloween It’s Halloween in Hatchetfield once again, and Miss Holloway is celebrating the same way she’s done for decades, staving off the horrors that go bump in the night. But when Duke gives her an invitation to his wedding, the dejected Miss Holloway begins to chafe under the terms of a contract forged many years ago. She strikes a new bargain, but unfortunately her creditors are known for their tricks, not treats. Just as Miss Holloway gives up her powers in exchange for a mortal life, a monstrous new threat rears its ugly head. As All Hallows Eve descends, and all Hell breaks loose, Miss Holloway must save the town or die trying… for real this time. Episode 4 (Double Length): Orbweaver Lex Foster had a life once. A home. A boyfriend. Now there is only the road, and her sister, and the fear of the men who are hunting them. As Hannah Foster watched Lex sink deeper into despair, she is certain of only three things: Webby is gone. She cannot help them. They are alone. Elsewhere, an old soldier awakens from a catatonic state. Returned from some unimaginable Hell with a mission. He knows that somewhere, two magical girls require immediate evac… then maybe some coffee.

And also the 2000s teen horror series is great, I love tim, love grace. And I actually love duke and ms. Holloway so much and im already sad from what they read in a stream so im excited for that. And orbweaver!!! It seems like it might be a direct continuation of yellow jacket which is really cool. Im so excited for more lex and hannah, im excited to see what chuck is up to. Also hopefully ethan is part of it in some way, maybe he is trying to find them. The hint to general john macnemera is so exciting

Do the Lords in Black do anything for themselves? Pokey had the infected spread his blue goop, Wiggly made Wiley make Linda form a cult to build his cyclopean gateway, Nibbly got Roman to prepare Linda for him to devour, even in NPMD and Watcher World, the Lords just tell someone to kill someone else and let their messy relationship tear them apart... Only Otho and Tinky actually get properly involved in their plots
@Undeniably_Idiotic9 ай бұрын

I believe Nightmare Time proves that good storytellers can still tell a convincing story given extreme limitations. While Zoom readings are definitely not my first choice when it comes to media consumtion, there is definitely something about the Nightmare Time episodes that is both charming and captivating that drew me to them in 2020, and keeps bringing me back to re-watch them when in the mood. Not to mention the layers of complexity it adds to the three mucicals by revealing so much lore about the town of Hatchetfield. Now you just need to go find "Hey, Melissa!" in one of the livestreams. But fair warning, that one is a bit.... out in left feild.

watching this and Time Bastard over again, the allusions to Tinky chasing Ted in the maze of the golden cube/ his "toy box" felt still kind of loose but i then realized that Ted really is perpetually treated like Tinkys tortured toy (ok ill stop lol) with Emma and Paul hot on his heels, this iteration of Ted is killed, but the one still at the wedding is now on its way to drinking himself into a stupor, lamenting about time passed that he wont get back, and leaving himself open for Tinky to destroy him all over again. This might be controversial. But I really liked Jane's a car. Not my favorite but Still something I think about time to time and not just because it's a weird concept but because of the great Story that is told, but I think also. Because I had a little problem with the ending. Or I need to eject my own creative spin on it. I know it's not my place, but if you will allow me what if Becky jumped out of the way of the car just in time and Tom goes crashing through the windshield.Hits his head on a rock as he tumbles down a Hill Slope amongst the leaves. And if I remember correctly , it needs a deato transfer One soul to the next so now Jane is in Ted's body and having to deal with the rest of her life being Her husband Especially Now that the car is totaled and the tape is completely destroyed. I get the need to tie things up with a type bow while making us wonder. But I think this is more intriguing. But that's my own personal take.
@worthbygrades2 ай бұрын
I Think that while power corrupts absolutely. I think a great way to take. It is that there needs to be something added to make it really corrupt some. Type of curse Some way that you become unrecognizable to yourself. Or your surroundings. And/or in you're Ability to move around in this world and of course, I think that this would be a longer show if you really wanted to play into these aspects like for instance Seeing how Jane tries to keep Smiling for Tim Wild morning Tom and having to look in the mirror and see his face every single time, reflecting on her time as a car "driving her insane." Get it 😂. No, but seriously. What would that do to you, psychologically?

@Undeniably_Idiotic27 күн бұрын
If you've got the time to do so, watching through Nightmare Time is a much more rewarding way of unravelling the lore of Hatchetfield! Black Friday had a lot to get through in only one musical show, so having Nightmare Time go at a more manageable pace is very nice to have!
@Ghosty_starzz27 күн бұрын
@@Undeniably_IdioticI agree with this statement. As you said, Black Friday had a lot to get through which was only made more difficult because they needed to have a coherent story on top of adding the lords in black, white and black, etc. Because of this, Nightmare time was definitly necessary to not just confuse fans more and more, If we didn't end up getting Nightmare Time we would need many more lore drops in Musicals, Short stories (Like Working Boys), and livestreams. We also, likely would've had to wait much longer for NPMD because they would have to present the other lords in black in their own on-stage musical(s) that could've been the same storylines of Nightmare Time or completely different. Also, we wouldn't of gotten the theme song, Virginity rocks, or the music video for Perky's Buds and thise would've been the greatest losses
