At least that's why mine always failed lol. This video was very fun to make, really hope you enjoed it and find some truth in the message for your own side projects. Maybe some of you have experienced this first hand just like me!

what happens to me its that I get overhelmed with all tech and new patterns/how to do things/whats faster/better/drop this do this now push me back when making projects, like am obsessed to make it perfect just start doidoing and commit to it and stick to something

That's true..You just need to ignore the tech noise going on and focus on achieving your goals because there will always be a "better" way.

Side projects mostly never come to an end because the developers try to develop a feature that solves problems of others. If they start developing features that actually solve any of their day-to-day problem, chances are quite high that they would cross the finish line. In a nutshell, side projects should be made to make your life easier rather than trying to develop a feature that "COULD" be helpful for others

How do you solve the OpenAI error: Billing hard limit has been reached I've been stuck on that on my side project for a month now 😢 thats the only thing delaying the deployment of the App Welp 😢😢 2:18

This actually can grow up to not doing anything even at work place over time. How can u coin yourself as a dev or engineer if u cannot push a project to the end.
@nonybrighto

Not necessarily though. You can be more motivated to do work place projects because of the immediate financial reward and also because you aren't responsible for seeing through the whole process down to deployment, costs and promotions.

My side project have all one point of common. There all tools for me essentially so I always focus to do the minimum and then switch to them. So finally when I encounter a bug or a missing feature. Well there is no going back

To reduce the number of unfinshed side projects I have, I make sure that I round it up, i.e. make sure it's working and launch somewhere live. Then I fix all the visual (or logical) defects I discover as time goes on.

Google. More in depth googling. Reading the source code of the library. Reading the research paper. Writing a patch to the linux kernel. Make your own custom hardware with pcbway. Dig deeper and deeper until the world bends to your desires.

Nice troll. In case you're serious, the answer is that it doesn't matter. Take whatever, practice, practice, practice. Technologies change every year. For each new project you take a random currently fashionable stack.

@@Bvic3 Fast website development is more difficult, though. Which tech stack should I use to quickly build a website? Although it won't take place in a matter of days or even a week, practise can help.

well I will tell you what i think I am not sure that first pet projects should be definitely finished if you feel like you squeezed everything you could out of it new knowledge wise. when you are creating something and hoping to make some profit out of it you definitely have to make it ready to use at least with some amount of functionality.

Write the scope of the project and create pseudo code with checkboxes from start to finish. And check each item as you go on. THENNNN go through the detailed items you have created.
