Damned players these days expecting all this courtesy. Back in my day, we didn't even have dice. All we had were sticks. And we'd hit the players with the sticks and some of 'em died, and we LIKED it.

I'ma be honest, as jokey as this is, the players should have some respect for the gm putting in work to make the game work. It shouldn't be a dictatorship, the players' need and wants shouldn't be disregarded, but there needs to be a balance, the players AND the Gm need to work together to make something they all enjoy

im a massive bastard as the DM. i dont give many second chances if you get yourself killed you died. start a fight with a emerald dragon well guess whats gonna happen yah gonna die spend a hour shopping guess what the shops shutting you gotta leave ive had my players shaking with anger after a villian killed their npc friend and healer because why wouldnt he XD

I love when lowly players think they have a chance against a God such as myself. After years of berating and electrocuting my friends when they failed to entertain me, this next session we're finally approaching the final boss in our cyberpunk game which I'm going to give them all guns, tell them the only way they hit is if they can shoot me. They won't stand a chance.
