@@audioarkitekts Please do that anyway... I was pretty much set on the Oberon 3's, but after seeing this I'm not that sure anymore :) Covid makes trying them out pretty much impossible, so it'll have to be an online purchase and anything would be helpful :)

@@audioarkitekts heyy thanks for replying. Can we get a serious review of the Edifier s2000mkiii. A bit of comparison with other speakers to get a feel of how it is. Where I work there are hardly any audio stores but Edifier has its presence here I I'm hearing good things about them. I was thinking of one for my office setup. I know it's deemed somewhat heretical to request active speakers and from a Chinese brand none the less. But would really appreciate it. Thanks dude.

I've had the 3030is forv6 months now. They have been underwhelming to say the least. The speakers are very light, by weight and the bass response muddies up everything else...not sure why so many reviewers are waxing eloquent about these speakers...

Check your placement, check room acoustics, check equipment in use...I doubt 99.9% of the planet are all wrong, they are great speakers.
