I had this delivered on Saturday and compared to the Fold 4 and 5 that I've tried, it feels worlds ahead in terms of design. It's light, excellent battery, screens are beautiful and it feels more sturdy despite it being thinner. The crease is virtually invisible. Excellent piece of kit.

I don't like the aesthetics either, but that's not functionality, that one can get use to.

these people that complain about opening a phone. that is what it was designed for. your paying enough. and yes fold 5 cover display could be a little wider, it would be nice. but for everyone else who are not tech reviewers we use one phone all day every day, and you get used to it, the fold 5 is my first folding phone, i love the inner aspect ratio. i have learnt to open it more often but i still use the outer display more than the inner, even if on occassion i get frusterated for a second. and i dont have small hands,. you have to allow yourself to get used to it. i hope they don't go to wide on the outer display as it is easy to hold when closed and are making phone calls/

I just noticed that my power button is a little bit loose. is that normal? I mean that there is movement and if you run your finger over it, it moves a little bit loose. do you have that too?

Plenty of us US residents are using the global version. You can buy from Wonda Mobile. They shipped me a V2 incredibly fast (2 days from ordering to have my hands on it, device shipped from Hong Kong). Software has some quirks, but overall excellent. I'm a lot happier with this than the Galaxy Fold 5 or Pixel Fold.

I m so happy to receive my new magic v2 finally. Its unbelivable how light and how thin it is. The battery life and the camera is way better than my fold 3. I love the the size of the front screen. Only need to use the inner screen when i have to read articles and emails. Most of all, the price is so reasonable So satisfied I m loving it.❤❤❤

I Got UAE version with Boss Speakers and Watch with 2 cases and extended 1 years warranties in all , the device i just say no one can beat Magic V2 in foldables in all terms , specially there Parallel space option in which i can open another profile at same with everything is separated from main profile , i can use this parallel space option for my official use softwares and gallery no one can access parallel space profile even they unlocked my phone because to access parallel space option it ask another code to access it which is separate from mobile unlock pin

If you have an older car with no android auto or a decent satnav, this is the perfect form factor for you. Will make the basis of a great set nave can enfotainment unit. Years ago I traveled across Europe with a car eit no sat nav, I downloaded here maps, Because here maps lets you download whole countries, I used an Hidl 2 iirc 7" wifi tablet and it made a great nav device. Audible player and podcast player. Better than using my phone, and risking accidentsl roaming fees and it didn't take up my phone.

I have been using foldable phones since 4 years now. Samsung Galaxy 1,2,3 and screen of 2 malfunctioned after 4 months. Then had OPPO N2 Fold, screen protector came off after 3 months and now Honor Magic VS inner screen self destructed. I could just be unlucky but none of my other phones over the last 15 years every broke and I change my phones every 8-9 months.

Samsung folds have problems with hinge after 6 months ,be careful.it 2ill not be opening full open. I was so happy with ky fold 4 untill suddenly started to not fully open ,

Has anyone got two bluetooth options on their vehicle and my android auto & pc connection doesnt work. Honor customer service is abysmal too. Possibly i got a bad phone and need a replacement. Hope no one else is having this issue.

Oneplus...simply put it's Oppo phone I own the latest foldable of Oppo....it's really good, but I really prefer Huawei's more and when it comes to weight, it's a bit heavy and the phone is a little thick....although still thinner than Samsung However, I do like its camera, takes great photos and a very nice folding screen.... Only using it cuz I needed an Android phone in HK for work or some Android only related stuff....but other than that, my Huawei phone is still my main phone to use day to day.

Because Samsung have a solid reputation in the market, one fxxk up can make them loose a lot like Note 7 mess up. That's why they play safe. Even if chinese phones explode, break nobody talks about them. If some happens to Apple or Samsung they make it to front page headlines.

In terms of phone, it's just that no other brands pushes out so many versions of phones as Samsung did....and among all the Android phones in the early days, Samsung is the only brand that's global and big. But other than that, their phones isn't really worth to mention other than the time when they were the first to release big screen smartphone... Samsung isn't playing safe, they just don't have the right people to lead their phone sector, and they lack innovation, almost in all kinds of products that they are in....price tag still very high, but quality and technology is falling behind.

Not true about the Samsung ZFold 5. I have used it for 6 months now, and the phone works beautifully whether folded like a regular phone, or unfolded.

So it will come down to V2, One+ Open or the new Huawei perhaps. Samsung and Google have shot their load.... Only waiting for tweeks and upgrades. THEN price will drive the competition. Personally I think price will be the largest driver..... most people don't really care about chip set and cameras (most but not all). Then durability. Then finding the most acceptable, dimensions of any folding device, by the public. You are correct the zfold is to narrow with the front screen.

sorry but in terms of inner display samsung is king why because camera has pixels on top more immerse, you have dex can use more than 2 floating windows same time, they also have transparency option it has goodlock you can use two apps on one side when in splitscreen mode

Rather boring looking phone. I have been using a Fold 3 for 2.5 years. I don't use the front screen, beats the reason for buying a folding phone. I love the real estate and the ability to have multiple applications on the screen at the same time. Samsung have done an excellent job here and the phone is great. If you only want to use the front screen, then its a waste of money to buy a foldable phone.

I have had my zfold for 3 years which I use constantly. I have had ZERO issues or cracking within my inner screen. Samsung tested the fold at 250k+ folds. In three years I would need to open and close my zfold 684 times per day. Let's say I open /close 100 tpd for 3 years..... I would be WAY below what Samsung tested. I have a problem with Samsung bloatware..... Not the hardware.

Not anymore. 1. Expensive 2500 dollars or 2000 Euro 2. Only 512gb global and China get 1TB 3. 8 gen 2 - outdated. Galaxy Fold 6 will be thin, waterproof, 8 gen 3, 1TB and will cost 1700 Euro or 2000 dollar. That's their plan. Better than this chinese folding phone.
