Very similar indeed! I use the A7iv, my buddy the A7siii. He says he's is MUCH better, haha. We'll have to do a test like yours someday.

Hey guys ! Nice comparison video with some beautiful shots ( Sigma 35mm ART ) and good grading. Dillema which one to get end 2024 with the prospects of the A7-V coming out in 2025 improving on the great A7IV ! Basically A7s3 vs A7IV is a tough one... ( Slow-mo with a crop no problem for some) , the 7K downsampling to 4K is great. The OLED EVF of the A7sIII is the best on the market ! If you focus manually and in the dark or in bright sunshine, that's a real advantage to the A7sIII. Thanks !

thanks ... I'm glad you love your A7siii... a workhorse for many pro's and the 12MP sensor is also in the FX3 and FX6... just more cinematic than the clinically sharp IV's sensor. The high light roll off is probably also smother than on the IV . The IV can also overheat in slow-mo apparently. Before I get blased for the iso, we recorded most of the footage at night at either iso 640 and iso 12,800. I'm dyslexic and accidentally put iso 21,800 and said 2,800 lol

I feel you, bro! I just got the a7siii. I've been ruining the A7C for about a year. That a7iii got a lot of power if you know how to use it. Especially in slog 3
