They take like an additional like 10 minutes to get enough treats to get the pumpkin and h'ween mask sets. Why not take the time to complete the video? Is it just so you could be 'first' to have a 2022 OSRS H'ween video published? Smh

No harm done, I grinded the rest and got some pumpkins and halloween mask sets. If you continue grinding you can complete the terrifying charm with the 4 'junk' items you get which guarantees a threat on your trick of threats 3 times.

@@Theoatrix there's also the Terrifying charm, need to get old wool, smelly sock, spooky egg, and bruised banana to make. All done by rng via trick or treating

Falador guards is the fastest way, also you can trick or treat the same npc if you leave the area and come back (or short time delay)

@@Mr_Spaghetti Back from rs2, doesn't exist in osrs though. Also had the omni talisman which was like all runecrafting talismans merged into one and could be attached to a staff or tiara. The staff was cool, was a 1 attack equivalent of a steel scimitar and the robes were even BiS mage for free to play.

yeah the old school team is in belief that timelocked achievements/items are an unhealthy and outdated practice in games. I firmly agree and am also happy that other players have access to these costumes

RS3 brought back web cloak and eek last Halloween. Then Christmas came and I expected them to do more of that, maybe Santa suit and snow globe. Nothing of the sort I guess they were just testing to see what people thought. I wouldn’t know as I don’t partake in the polls/forums. OSRS has a superior system, just rerelease it all every year. Hope they do the warlock outfit

If you wear a ghost speak amulet while trick-or-treating, and talk to ghost that is spawned as a trick it will give you a 100% chance at a treat on your next trick-or-treat. Also if you combine all 4 random items you get from trick-or-treating you get a Terrifying charm that you can wear in the ammo slot. that also gives a 100% chance at a treat on your next 3 trick-or-treats.

I had an account when I was 12, which had the zombie head and I knew it was rare. When I came back to the game earlier this year I thought about how I will never get that zombie head, but I actually did get it from the kids in varrock which is awesome and brings back many great memories!

There's also a generous Treater in East Varrock, around the old Fountain that bots used to fill bottles at. he also gives 100 treats

You also get 2 Halloween mask packs and 2 pumpkins once you've completed all 8 of your personal goals. I suppose this could have just been my rewards and players should expect to receive different things, but that's what I got and I thought that it was somewhat notable.

It’s the same for everyone. You can right click and change the wig variant and it matches half your hair it’s cool also if we reach the goals for treats our cauldron will upgrade as a whole game!

I think jagex should offer 50 points per quest for completing the quest in beta worlds. In the grand scheme it's nothing but it would incentives players to do it. I've been participating in quest speed running but I'm not wasting my time to test it lol. If I was getting a 1 time offer of 50 points a quest I'd totally do it to unlock things a little quicker.

It’s not special anymore cause it’s all just so watered down and easy. Back then, it felt really awesome to get a new event item because (in my mind) that item could possibly be the next phat or Santa hat or hween hat. But now those items are worth nothing so it makes other event items seem worthless too.

i just miss how interactive each event was, there was an actual story we had to go through. between the grim reapers part, the chocotrice event and the snow world event these just seem like realism of the exact same quests where you walk around and talk to 3-4 people then are done
