Hi guys, thanks for naming all the animals most of them I didn't know, also thanks for showing Botswana, it now has become more than a name. I find it ever so cool to see Victoria drive without her hands on the wheel, she's a brave girl. I doubt you could let a Defender steer itself like that, at least in my exoeriance it does'nt work. Take care and have it good friends. Chris.

Hey! What an amazing trip! Thanks for sharing, I’ve been following all the episodes! So cool! My wife and I are heading to Johannesburg at the end of August. We'll spend 5 days in Kruger National Park and then visit the Maun area. Since we decided on this trip a bit last minute, we're going to Botswana without any park reservations. I was thinking of camping near Maun and doing single-day self-drive safaris in the parks. Do you think that’s possible? Or do you need to make reservations well in advance to get into the parks? If you could shed some light on this, I’d be super grateful!

Thanks for your comment ☺️ Sounds great (although I am biased because - Africa!😎🤘). No reservations is risky. It is always busy in Bots and I am not sure if you will get in to Moremi without a campsite booking in advance (although there are stories out there, of course). If you can get accommodation in Maun, an idea is to get a 'day' game drive into Moremi and use Main as your base. I think this question is better answered (and more opinions) on Facebook: DriveBots. On the logistics side I guess you'll be flying from Kruger to Maun? Once again, sounds like a great trip #jealousnotjealous😃😅👍
