A deal breaker for me is the lack of solar function. Everytime you need to change the battery you need to open it which isn't ideal for water-resistance. The reflection on the mineral glass since there's no ar coating is also a deal breaker. Just my opinion.

I do wish it had same feature as the bb100 if so I would buy it. In my mind its a lot of cash for less features...perhaps one day I might pull the trigger...cheers

I'm looking to ditch my gg1000 to get the gwg2000 just because of the battery. Once a year it dies and the watch just sits until I take it in for replacement. And it's getting harder to find someone to change it. I love the watch but I'm losing interest in it I battery is always dead.
@wildaboutwatches3 жыл бұрын
You're the second person who has stated this issue regarding batteries and how difficult it is to replace them someone else in comments said the same. Its annoying its so difficult they make it harder by having straps covering the base plate screws. The gwg 2000 is a fab watch you'll love it. I got 10% off my order as advertised on fb lol I think they offering 15% if shop around.

@@wildaboutwatches no doubt they're all great watches its just weird we have to choose between pros and cons. My current battery has been going strong now for nearly 3 years! Admittedly neither the compass nor altimeter get used very often but all other functions are, including the light... Best value muddy by far... Team one up with a set of Jays and Kays adaptors and either a black bracelet or black and grey Camo NATO and it's almost the perfect everyday watch. Not to mention the price isn't gonna send ya broke.... Mate, how can you even compare this monster to that of a smart watch? Get me a bucket..... Loving all things G
