Omg yes! And NYU has a program for transfer students from community colleges and a scholarship for those transfers. This is also kind the route I’m taking. I just wanna try finishing 1 year of my BS Computer Science at this community college/Uni and then transfer to NYU -that’s the agreement the school has with NYU.

@@heybahi7 i’d suggest just go search nyu community college transfer and on their website they have a list of all community colleges that they are partnered with like for example i saw the bronx community college and note its only new york community colleges, that’s what i noticed

Community college usually do not have on campus housing. But my my community college had an apartment building near the school that was in “partnership” with the school. Or recommends students to live there. Housing for community college is your expense and would not be covered by any scholarships.

It depends. A lot of the times people get certificates, associate degree, and I know SAC had a nursing bachelors degree program. Obviously it depends on your degree/major. Research and see what is needed for that specific field you are interesting in. And weigh the options. The cheaper it is to get your education, the better. Good Luck!

For community college, I think your metric grades are sufficient. However for university, they may need from Gr8 till Gr12.

Because I applied to community college, they put 2 year. It's not your choice to put 4 year or 2 year, it depends on the type of school you apply to. If you go to community college and transfer you get additional years added after you graduate and transfer. I hope that makes sense.

@@austincore 1. Find a community college of your choice 2. Apply to that school and pay their application fee. ( They will tell you want you need to apply, transcripts, recommendation letter, proof of funds etc.) 3. Wait for a response which most likely you’ll get accepted 4. You’ll receive an I-20 and acceptance letter which you’ll use to apply for your student visa. 5. Get your student visa and study Obviously there are other things that you might encounter. It’s not a linear line. I hope that helps. And if not, I recommend emailing the school you’re interested in and they will guide you. Best, L
