True! My cat, Lilac, is always changing her favorite and least favorite foods. After a long time trying to figure out how to get her to eat her wet food regularly, I finally realized that the key isn't what she's given, but novelty!😁 If Lilac doesn't like a certain food that she used to eat, I keep it around b/c once she hasn't tasted it for a while (a few weeks, maybe) she'll likely start enjoying it again.

One of my cats (was my mom's actually) loves to go up under the blanket in my bed so I'll pat her on the butt. If I stop, she meows for more. Same cat loves to sleep on my shoulder all the time. Today's been one year since my mom's passing. I think she knows, she's been clingy all day.

@@ruthmcpherson247 Ruth there’s no need to say you don’t care ( as it comes over as being slightly rude) Actually I do agree with you! It’s certainly a lot safer and I am a keen animal lover. In the U.K. back in the terrible winter of 1963 I can still remember my Father and some neighbours burying a number of cats found frozen to death that were only discovered after the snow banks thawed out weeks later. Since then of course heavy traffic has taken over as their main danger. I grew up on a farm and we had cats, they were consummate hunters of rats and mice in particular that were attracted to our various sacks of animal feeds, so my Dad was very pleased to have them prowling! Subsequently I truly believe indoor cats can expect to live longer and more comfortably than outdoor cats. Have a good Christmas 🙏

Unfortunately I could not come near him but sure enjoyed having him com around at night and eating on my patio. I miss him. His name was Jerry. I’m really sad I couldn’t adopt him as an indoor kitty 😔
