Koopa Kid reminds me of the good old days with Mario Party. There's a nice mod for Smash Bros Ultimate to play as Koopa Kid over Bowser Jr. Loving that!

I think he can coexist with Bowser Jr.! And also the Koopalings, would love to see them all together some day. I feel like they would work great as antagonists of a Mario Party story mode (alongside Bowser) and as you defeat them in boss minigames, they become playable.

Koopa Kid. Koopa Kid. This guy...is my favorite Mario character. Some of my reasoning is similar to yours. I am a longtime fan of the Mario series, having played numerous games. However, the Mario Party sub-series is specifically my favorite; my three favorite games ever are Mario Parties 4, 5, and 3. I've been familiar with Koopa Kid since Mario Party 2. Mario Party 3, though, is when I started taking a shine to him; I like how he was presented as a "rival" to Toad with his own item shop. What about Mario Party 4, then? Not only would this game properly give Koopa Kid his name, but I love how his personality shines on the Bowser board. I also dig seeing numerous Koopa Kids in the background. The icing on the cake? He is playable in the beach volleyball game. That is a big part of why MP4 is my GOAT. Mario Party 5 is cool in that it features colorful doppelgangers of Koopa Kid as rivals in story mode. Even cooler is that the main Koopa himself is playable! I enjoy using him on the boards and in minigame mode. Over the past couple of years, I (jokingly) spread a hashtag of BringBackKoopaKid on Twitter. Recently, however, I have since accepted reality and understood that my favorite little mini Bowser has been retired. I share a slight indifference to Bowser Jr., but don't hate the little guy. He's cute. I get why Nintendo wants to stick with him for marketability. The Switch has been shown to bring characters back. What that means for Koopa Kid is beyond me. Whatever the case, Koopa Kid will stay my favorite Mario character. Nice video.

Bowser Jr. is better. He’s so cute and had stories in Origami King, Bowser’s Fury, Bowser’s Inside Story + Bowser Jr’s Journey, and Super Mario Sunshine!
