Combined a moneyball save with a 5000-1 Hull City Career mode. To help stay under the $90M, could only sign transfers outside of the top 5 leagues, and had to be able to get them for at least 10% under their valuation. Could only promote and feature one youth player per season and play them (could promote and loan or sell others though). One of my most fun saves in any FIFA.

What is moneyball I don't understand it I know bolton do it but what's it mean
@tuga1632 жыл бұрын
@@alehlete830 pretty much a player who has potential but is evaluated at a low price is bought so that the club can bring the best out of that player, in doing so it increases that players value and helps the club in games, once the club is happy they sell the player generating a large sum of profit compared to when bought and that money can be used to invest in other players or buy big names ect

In my career, I retired Tim Krul, with the goals of being Newcastle Manager, I've taken control of Peterborough and they had a scout already based in Holland. As Krul is Dutch I'm trying to develop a culture based around that and have around 3 to 4 Dutch youngsters in my squad. Loving these new ways to play 👊

I like to do reverse leagues, like putting all league two teams in the PL and PL teams in league two and then proceed to do that with every tiered division in the game. However unrealistic it does create some fun interesting matchups and is interesting to see a team like Stevanage for example win the PL and compete in the champions league.

One of my favourite things to try is to give players who never quite reached their potential another go. Some players i have used are bojan, iturbe, wilshere, lallana (bit debatle), Walcott. If you know the types of players that work for you it can be really satisfying seeing these players perform at their best

i saw this video a week ago, i revisited it today and thought how i could implement an academy-based career mode. but not using youth academy. I played as freiburg, and bought every player under 23 from their second team in bundesliga 3. and only used them, and the original under 23 players, doing swap dead with my 24> players for the youngsters, obviously, the 2nd team got promoted, and with both in the top league, they buy and produce young talent as much as i do, buying all their young players in trade for my older ones. it works surprisingly well!

i started with stoke and relied on current players and some quick youth signings through transfer market only had 5mil budget. next season i’m now building more youth players aswell as investing in old players like pique and buffon who is a sensational keeper

I quit the series after FIFA 20 but I play FIFA 14 career mode religiously, recycling between bringing in Rangers and Celtic into the English system, or restoring Pompey’s former glory though the reason why FIFA 14 is pretty straight forward in so far as the “what if” factor is concerned since this game is set right about the time the beautiful game transitioned from its vintage “4-4-2” model to a more fluid 4-3-3 style and beyond. While the game fails at being true to life, it has its own authenticity, and while exploitable as any other career mode, the exploits of the era here serve to add a level of variety and color missing in later games. By the time of FIFA 16, career mode became rather stale and bland. I actually bought the PC version just so I can learn modding and bring my own content into the game as well from elsewhere to make the game more interesting as now that its servers are offline, you certainly won’t be seeing much of anything new from EA. That al said, I more or less always play the same way, before the career mode begins, I’ll bring in a few legends like Ronaldinho or a Crouch for shithousery purposes and then focus almost strictly on youth and the occasional regen if they’re good. I’m a barcelonista, so passing and controlling the tempo are what I live and die for. On ocasionar, I’ll go to Spain and resurrect Super Depor there and frustrate my own favorite club for shits and giggles, too. Honestly, I haven’t played much Barcelona in FIFA for more than a decade as I always found career mode most interesting when you’re digging yourself out of the pits of the lower divisions.
