I like the car and have enjoyed using it for the last 8 months. Just coming up to winter here in UK, so I guess I'll find out about the battery, but aside from that it has behaved impeccably and all the features are as stated. Audi are indeed expensive and not as hassle free as say a Toyota/Lexus, but it's under a good warranty for another couple of years yet so will see. The brakes are excellent, no issues at all. Back seat heating? Maybach maybe? Not sure, does the Q7 have them perhaps? Not a deal breaker for me, but each to their own.

brake regen is not for less maintenance... it's for efficiency, turning your kinetic energy back into juice for you battery. most of your heavy braking happens on your front rotors. Brake regen works best 99.999% of the time by slowing your car more gradually from the rear regen motors.

Having had a Q4 S Line 40 etron for the past 3 years or so, I can say it’s an amazing car overall. Recently placed a replacement order to upgrade to the black edition quattro tech pro 45 etron. Yeah, the range drops around 25-30% in the winter (-5 deg celsius) but I was fully expecting that and works well for my driving habits and charging facilities. Didn’t see the point in opting for a heat pump. Mind, I still get 200+ miles in winter and range massively depends on driving style. On the other hand, I’ve averaged 5-6mi per kWh in the summer, which is far more than the claimed 4mi per kWh consumption. I guess it comes to personal preference and like any other car it has its pros and cons.

i own one and love it to bits, never had any problems with it. i tend to push it to its limits and braking is fine so is power and comfort. think this guy was expecting a top of the range perfect car . hes moaning about back seat heating not standard many more expensive cars dont have back seat heating

Since when did the Q4 ever have a frunk! Why are you talking about Winter range when you have no actual facts? You complain about the height of the load area - this is an SUV, not a compact car. The brakes are normal - maybe you are driving too close to other vehicles in front of you. You do have a valid point about the lack of heating in the rear seats, but do other cars in the same market have them (Kia and Hyundai are not in the same market)?
