I’ve played every soulsbourne game and in all honesty Deepwoken is fun if you just play it for fun (I’m into the lore myself and that’s what got me into it) but like you stated, the permadeath system seems to drag people into the depths of hell. It’s why I stopped playing it because after some time there is just not much else to do in the game besides die, stress, grind, stress some more, repeat. I hope it gets better in the future and then perhaps I’ll come back to it. Another soulslike game called Derelict did recently peak my interest and it’s quite fun even if it’s early stages. I’d recommend Deepwoken players both former and current to check it out.

let's seeeee for myself I already about 90 hours in deepwoken as I recently did started playing deepwoken and have to say this game makes you rage more easily when you getting a wipe and for during those times welp I actually train myself to do the trial of one for a couple days which I didnt went insane as I just go for empty wipes over and over again and then right when I unlock deepbound which is when I rage more since well wipers to say the least but am I getting insane who's really knows at this point but I do get breaks on it at least

Man, its kinda insteresting seeing the rage people can go in a game. I have never raged, not in deepwoken nor in any game, even that one time i just missed a basic jump with my power 20 in the depths. I just took a deep breath, closed the game and gave myself a 1 day pause to relax. My experience of "rage" in video games just come dowm into frustration. That can be easily dealt with

ik im late but your right i used to rage but not typically "rage" but mostly cry. i reached lvl 20 and got 11 enchants then died due to a disconnection while gaining a hp pack from a jellyfish. i got mad and started crying quietly for like 2 minutes then i agreed to not ever cry or waste my emotions for a game, i started playing the game normally without any rage. yeah sometimes i get annoyed but then i chill and start watching videos on yt and chill to music its pretty fun.

@@vergil2 "can't handle stress" I play stressful games all the time, this one is just not remotely worth it. Even if they removed the permadeath entirely I would still hate playing it, it's just not fun. The skill floor to actually be able to play the game is unreasonably high, to the point where after 6 hours I still could not beat the FIRST GROUP OF ENEMIES. I'm not the best at videogames, but thats just plain egregious difficulty. It's not fun, it's a mental torture simulator

Deepwoken is such a good game and that's why I play, but I play in bursts. I tend to take breaks from it before I reach max insanity, could be a few days to months and then I'll play again.

as a former deepwokener this game changed my life to the worst legit playing this game felt like living in some weird sad world that makes crumble my sanity and i started getting more aggressive cuz of the rage this game gave me and the pressure of becoming good at it it took me 4-5 months and 640 hours of playtime to snap back to reality this game is truly horrible and a master peace at same time it just feels so diffrent than any other games but i advice u not play it its a depression and if u play it for long enough u'l realize it first u not gonna feel any of this but 1 or 2 weeks into it and u'l see the results ur self final warning dont get involved with this game
