the same capsule mounted on the AT2020, on some Samson models, on plenty of SDC (Small DIaphragm Capsule) ones.

They are 16mm electret capsules, each batch of mics seems to use slightly different ones - whatever is cheapest at the time, probably. The same size capsules can vary tremendously in quality from type to type, with cheap once costing pence and high quality ones as much as these whole mics.

@@RJTC in fact the whole capsule also the mechanical stuff on it are identical. Easy to identify them. This is just because they are very cheap. I have a bunch of them and I have also modified some mic they have it. Just same stuff and yes: also the consistency is just theoretical.
