One should go for placement year as it will also extend your overall duration to 4 years and even if you don't let an internship as per University standard then the charges for placement year will be refunded and you'll be transitioned to normal 1 year masters. So it's a WIN-WIN to opt for Placement Year.

@@hashimshaik2194 exactly. and if you want ILR (PR) in UK then you need 5 years of stay of tier 2 visa .. so these placement year and 2 year psw don't count in it.. inshort for PR u need to spend 3 year degree if going bachelor + 1 year placement year + 2 year psw + 5 year tier 2 visa. so my suggestion would be don't apply for psw 2 year visa after u finish ur graduation if u want to settle in uk.
