Just what I needed to hear. I passed on all the Marvel sets in the past so Im new to the "United System" and it's great to hear someone explain what these expansions offer other than characters.

This system is by far the most played game with my family. I doubt I will go all in but right now I am sitting at Titan pledge with 3 expansions (Arkham, S.S., JLA, and painting guide). In my opinion the strech goals are the best of any campaign with every second one being a villain. Villain variety make this game sing

It’s a highlight for us that we can all jump into, even my middle child that isn’t quite reading yet. Just finished introducing my wife to the 2000s Teen Titans and so seeing the Titan box was an easy decision. Fortunately for us, the other items I/we might be most interested in are not crowdfunding exclusive (Gotham/metropolis, Painting guide, and Arkham), so I can hopefully pick them up later.

I'm so torn on what to do with this one. As of right now, I think I'm going to go in for the Titans pledge now, and add in 3 expansions during the pledge manager: Arkham Aslylum (looks like a great set of villains), Suicide Squad (I loved that movie so I'm into the characters, and you can get some nice gameplay out of everyone being dual mode), and Gotham City (Batman is one of my favorite super heroes, so I'm really into all the stuff in his universe). But that all-in is calling out to me. I'm trying my best to resist it, but it is nice having everything. Although on the bright side, I'm not actually getting any FOMO this time around! So I'm here for as much Batman stuff and War Of Light. But they were freaking DEVIOUS with their splitting of all the Bat content as well as putting the FREAKING GREEN LANTERN RINGS separate from War Of Light to make you feel more FOMO on not having all rings to use in the War Of Light. But I'm here for JSA because: - Shazam, obviously. - Legacy characters - It being exclusive. Wish it wasn't or I'd wait for retail. Gotham City: - Batman. It's Batman and I gotta have it and I hate it. At least Catwoman and Red Hood are villains too and not just Bane Arkham: - As you said it has all the villains you want, and that includes Mr. Freeze for me Suicide Squad: - Harley - Value in the box is insane. - Peacemaker - King Shark War Of Light: - Since all the other Bat stuff is spread out, if I could only get ONE expansion THIS would be it. War Of Light is the Infinity War of DC and it is the coolest thing. I might honestly go in for the campaign decks JUST for the WoL story deck alone. As for Sidekicks, yeah I wish this was just included for free as a Stretch Goal. I just want Dex-Starr and Bat Hound. It's so weird that it's an exclusive and I dunno how I feel about it. Lantern Corp isn't great value. It just isn't. And to separate the green lantern rings from War Of Light is just scummy. Metropolis is coming to retail, and I don't care about Lois or Superboy enough to give more money than I already am. I'm sure Supes fans need it day 1 but I can wait.

I'm more excited for this than the Multiverse. But I know I will not get this played 50 to 100 times. So I'm going with just the base pledge which seems to have a lot of content.

Contrasted with DCEASED - which was very clearly experimenting and iterating on Marvel Zombies in some compelling ways - DC united just feels like it is reiterating Multiverse word for word.

No you are wrong , andrea created equipment for Batman not for multiverse and thé equipment in this campaign it's better and bring more deep gameplay than multiverse , each villain now has 2 phase one when WE start other when he IS under pressure ( huge différence cause modify bam or overflow or canards of master plan ) This campaign bring inversible number of New mode or mechanics tag villain , demi threat, task force x , suicide squad mode , breakout mode etc etc Just read so many presentation of characters in campaign it's better deep more cards effect or bring New stuff etc

It’s the best value for money to do base, that’s a given. Titans is good value if you like the characters. Slade and Trigon. If those aren’t your style, skip.

Sold all of my season 1 and 2 of Marvel for this. I really enjoy the game, but I much prefer DC to Marvel. Also, they just added campaign decks tracing comic storylines which is amazing to me.

getting base, Arkham Asylum and Suicide Squad. Great game modes, many interesting character and villains (unique). good addition to the rest of the United stuff. don’t think it’s gonna be fresh anymore in another season. This one has some great stuff.

I went all in on all three Marvel and play it with my kid weekly. We've played nearly every hero we have from sets 1 and 2 and as East Coasters are waiting on set 3. When I heard this was coming I made a list of the 10 heroes and 10 villains I wanted. Heroes: Supes, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Blue Beetle, Booster Gold, Martian Manhunter, Firestorm, Green Lantern (Hal), Green Arrow. Villains: Joker, Lex, Darkseid, Gorilla Grodd, Reverse Flash, Trigon, Mirror Master, Sinestro, Mr. Mxyzptlk, Lobo. So far, I get almost everything in the base pledge and little in the expansion materials... although there are characters in those expansions that are attractive, they're not looking like enough reason to go beyond base pledge. I'm wondering how many people may downgrade to a base pledge - and staty there - before this thing ends. It also seems odd that they have a lot of low A and high B characters out there - but not enough to carry a second season like MU did with X-men.

I’ll get core Arkham and S Squad. Otherwise currently thinking I’ll pass on rest. Unless they do something I really want that you only get with the all in like they did with multiverse. In that case I’ll go all in and just sell some of the expansions I don’t want off. There are always 100s of people who regret not backing a few months after it delivers. I don’t like backing to sell off but they sometimes hide something I really want behind that all in paywall

I just don’t get the Titans expansion- looks friggin boring…not sure why you think it’s a no brainer? I’m actually getting put off by the number of stretch goals - like am I really interested in having a million minis with cards that are pretty similar to the rest of the cards? Anyway - may back base, SS, Arkham :)

DC has so many F-tier characters, and those stretch goals are just boring for mainstream people. At least S2 (X-Men) had a ton of known X-Men characters to draw from.

Not backing, Have the All-in OG campaign and I’ve got Multiverse pledge coming soon - Not the biggest DC fan (love Batman though) I’ll just pick up the core, Breakout and Gotham city boxes when they come to retail at 25-30 dollars a pop with free shipping on amazon (instead of paying 50+ for shipping through the campaign). Missing out on Mr. Freeze and Commish Gordon but they aren’t worth the $100 extra for me.

I’m definitely in for base pledge. Trying to decide between Metropolis, as I’m a massive Superman fan, or Arkham Asylum for the new mode and rogue’s gallery. This is easily the best of the campaigns in my opinion. Even though I like the characters in Xmen season more there is so much new and refined stuff here.

I like the system, but as they have drawn on have picked up less each campaign. Waiting to see the final shake down, but keeping it under 150 or so total. With the marvel ones I already have so much, there is no reason to chance everything at this point

Definitely not backing this, but I'm interested in it. I had xmen + sg + ff and sold all that. Its a fun system but not own a ton of it for me. I really like dc but the retail offering looks solid. Core + some of these non exclusive expansions are more than enough to nit give cmon outrageous shipping money.

I cannot have both IPs for the same game since it wouldn't feel right to mix and match so passing on this one. I however wished that I did pledge for either Marvel Zombies or perhaps Dceased as a different system alongside all Marvel United things. ...but I didn't so I'm stuck with the minor Heroes Resistance box that my son almost likes more then United. Well, great that the people now have options! :)

Half the Expansions have really disappointed me. One or two solid characters mixed in with alot of mediocre ones. The lanterns add on i was waiting for doesnt even have a villian, way too many "Bats". Personally looking at the core pledge with the justice society add on.

I love the DC Universe and Characters but with this art, this "system," and this bloat, I can't justify the cost per enjoyment for me. Even at a base pledge, some content would probably not get played. I picked up some early Marvel United on the cheap, and tried more advanced characters/villains on TTS, but it's not what I'm going to choose to play on the regular, so it's just pass for me. Love that DC is getting featured, but it's just not speaking to me. I really thought it would more than it is.

Followed the campaign some time, but DC Universe doesn’t interest me that much. Maybe the past X-Men campaign could have been a better for me. I’ll pass and consider future campaigns if a theme interests me more.

WTF you dont follow this campaign😂😂 so many innovations now villains have 2 phase one in starting game one when villain IS under pressure , other différence now WE have a power activable when cards yellow effect in your storyline , why you Say "no innovation i dont know" 😂 when this campaign it's the most of better gameplay more deep , more replay value so many mode ( complication , bat signal , triggon, Arkham breakout , task force x , suicide squad mode , tag villains , cryptonite , Mr mxyzpltk, etc etc And Arkham have 2 mode of gameplay 2 games in one , suicide squad same 2 mode , innovation are tag villain combination of 2 différent villain It's not a reskin it's the best shape of United better gameplay better villain better Heroes deck This campaign had New type of characters : support Each villain bring Big variety of gameplay with more components Zod , cyborg superman , Deathstroke , riddlers , two face ( coin) And it's same for Heroes firestorm own components , Jonah hex same etc and when you dont have component or equipment , Heroes characters have a full deck of effect !!! ( Swamp thing , Constantine , martian manhunter and more others ) It's the best campaign because Andrea focus gameplay deeper than other campaign of United

I think this is a very disappointing campaign, I will pledge just for the titans and maybe I will add the Arkham expansion in the pledge manager. All the other expansions looks very similar to other expansions from marvel. In past seasons all the expansions were kind of different from each other, introducing something new. But now we will have two PvP mode almost identical and 3 sinister six mode. Easy pass expansions for me.

@@Twineandribbonto counter a phenomenon called FOMO. Exclusivity is the trick CMOn plays for all of their games and people fall for it including me. I was already trying to resist not FOMOing on the “exclusive” content in the campaign and once the gold foils were announced, suddenly it made it all the more easier! Try it, your bank account will thank you.
