You forgot one point (or probably never faced) that when a company have to do a mass layoff they many times layoff entire QA team. For obvious reasons entire developer team is not lay offed unless the product itself is ending. Developers job is comparatively more secure than QA. The only way to secure your job as a QA is if you do atleast 50% automation in your job which tbh should be mandatory for a tester. Manual QA is a job which literally anybody can do and only exist to save developer's time.

Just after 1 min in to the video ,that first point is everything why i hate testing. I don't know how many times i had to change the scripts bcoz of the changes in the application. No matter how much work i did nd how effeciently i did ,i never got recognition , infact no one knows my name but i have to work atleast 11-12 hrs a day. I lost my skillset bcoz of no scope of implementing my skills. Blame games are real , Work life balance is a joke. These are some of my personal experiences

I agree to all Negative points... testing jaisi cheej meri manager ko jaldi chahiye hoti thi .. jaldi kro jaldi kro... yehi sunne ko milta tha bus... and ek do baari mere upr false accusation / blames bhi hue.. but meri manager ko dil se lagta tha ki mai jhoot bol rha hu... I didn't liked that part ...

Being a tester for years I beg to differ on this buddy. Dont know where you are working but this is a MYTH you are spreading. It has always been like you create your own value. I am working in a good product based company as an automation tester and my salary is no less than a developer with same experience. But yes do I have developers who are getting less pay and got laid off because we all have high expectations from developers only and not all developers are skilled ones so...

Manual testing is limited. Agile ke baad automation ka demand bohot aa raha hai. You cannot execute 300-400 test cases within that short period of time. You need automation.
