Ahnald, so proud of you for sticking to your principles. I imagine this was a very difficult temptation. I agree with your choice wholeheartedly. I've learned as a parent that promising consequences that you don't follow up on weakens your position in the future. I understand what a double-edged sword this must be. On one hand, if you spend, you justify CG's belief that they can just take our Star Wars passion for granted and that we'll put up with (and pay out for) any junk content they dole out. On the other hand, not spending is going to affect your ability to review the toon for your audience. While the latter is definitely a loss for you, I'm not sure many realize this benefits CG as well. I truly believe one of the reasons they took action against you and other content creators (i.e. no communication, removing test accounts, selective bans), is because you were all revealing how lackluster many of their new toons were. Sure, you might have spent to max out Mando, Greef, Cara, and others, but through your reviews, others may have come to believe they weren't worth the investment. This damages CG's bottom line and could not be tolerated any more. I hope many of your viewers might be able to provide game play footage of JKL (though I hope more listen to your call not to spend) so you can still provide info to your audience. If not, no worries; you aren't letting us down. Letting us down would be making grandiose promises of consequences for CG that turn out to be thin and fragile. Stand strong and I think you'll find more of us will stand with you. Thanks for all you do!

Have you seen the film, Cars? There's a scene where Lightning McQueen has to re-lay a road he's destroyed by being careless, and he thinks the best way to do it is incredibly quickly like he's done everything else all of his life. The road comes out all bumpy, uneven and looks terrible. McQueen doesn't see the issue, but the townsfolk are less than happy with it and refuse to drive on it. Then, after learning patience from his in film mentor The Hudson Hornet, he realises that patience is key to success and so, tries again - but takes his time. The road comes out immaculate, the townsfolk are overjoyed and drive really slowly over rhe new road just to appreciate how good it is, and are very thankful to Lightning for doing such a great job. He gains their full support in his upcoming race because of the generosity and thoughtfulness he's shown his new friends. I'd LOVE to be able to relate this to what the toilet drinkers and money burners over at CG are fucking doing, but we ALL know even after all this God damn time we're still going to get that same bumpy, useless road. It really says something when a full TEAM of adults have worse ideas that an imaginary car in a film made for children.

I think the idea for this kit was to be a leader for galactic republic Jedi reworks and they decided to reskin it to Luke Skywalker. After canceling that whole project, they need to meet $$$ req’s for the quarter and this makes sense to release a fan fav character with inaccurate synergies and a kit not aligned with what we expect from the “end all be all character” I think this was the plan before community backlash/your banning so it seems more insensitive.

Ahnald is a whale though, just because he decides not to spend money anymore doesnt stop him from being a whale. As a F2P i disagree with Ahnald and I think that JKL will be a good character, and I look forward to getting him, no matter how long he takes. Honestly, in ROTJ, luke becomes less of a rebel and more of a jedi, he joins the rebels to endor at first but quickly leaves to confront the dark side and complete his jedi journey. While I think it makes sense for him to have a rebel tag, it also makes sense that he doesn’t. It was most likely a conscious decision on CG’s part to give him more jedi synergies rather than rebels, it doesnt mean that he is ‘half-baked’ or ‘fake’. Ahnald is just salty because his side account got (rightfully) banned.

With the fact he doesn't synergies with Old republic Jedi, his speed control lead is not only useless against GL but requires him to take a turn making speed matter on an anti speed character is ridiculous. And he needs jedi specifically which means you have to rip apart the already better than him teams of padme and GAS to make him relevant. JKR is still better. He gets looped on since the best teams have tm manipulation in some way. Hecks just the fact padme, jkr, and GAS can help beat GL and Luke is dead weight against them shows how terrible he is not worth any kind of investment even when he gets a GL not to mention this Luke isn't from episode 6 if you read their garbage this is still episode 5 Luke so him not being rebel hurts him even more

F2p since day 1 of game for a few reasons 1) This game is too expensive 2) In Argentina finding a dollar is harder than finding water in Africa 3) Cg is crap 4) Ahnald is God

Got that right. I was about to spend for the first time in swgoh and whale on the galactic legend heroes 3 months ago but decided not to. I bought a guitar, started a new hobby and donated some left to medical workers. I acquired a new skill and interest in life and at the same time helped the frontline workers. I have never been so much happier.

This Jedi Luke kit is what the rework for Mace should be. Imagine if Mace had this kit. All the synergy with other Jedis not being used in game as of now. Would make so much more sense.
