I have tiago.ev LR, I definitely get better range without cruise control. And on long flatroads with mild downslope i put regen totally off..this lets me coast without touching accelerator. This method gives better wh/km compared to regen 1/3 (leaving accelerator, car decreases speed so u cannot coast).

Cruise Control logic code needs redesign. it should based on watt hour consumption and it should always try to maintain speed at 'zero' line area

Hey not changing as mentioned we love cruise control for long drives but it does increase the wh consumption is what we have noticed, hence we recommend if you are looking at getting a better range for a long route avoid cruise otherwise it's a blessing to have cruise control !!!

Tip: Use cruise control on downhills The only time I use cruise control is when I am going downhill for more than 1 km, cruise control maintains the desire speed and the excessive roll is converted to regen.

I always get the lowest whr on my tigor ev when I drive with cruise control but very slow speed increase. Increase set speed when you are 5 kmh below it then it acc very slowly using 1-2 bar and on downhill it does slow regen which means less energy loss from heat.

Level 3 should give you the best range but we are planning to test the difference between all modes n practically find out the difference

Dear NoiseFaktory team, I’m a Nexon EV prime user from almost a year, and recently I have been facing an issue with the vehicle. Total kms driven till now is approximately 37,342 kms. And from about a week the battery is draining rapidly as it goes below 20%. Within 1 km around 3-4% drop has been reported by me. Earlier I was about to manage a range of around 260-270 with AC. But now I’m hardly able to touch 200 kms because of this issue. Could you please answer me if you guys are facing the same issue or not, or is there any solution for the same. Contacted the service centre but was told that there are no issues with the motor/battery pack. Do reply. Thanks.

Hi we are not facing any such issue with our cars ... could be cause of summer but then it will drain faster through out not just last 20% ... try n visit a different service centre and find a solution to this also make a video when it is draining battery like that so that it helps the service centre team to better understand

Try to get it diagnosed by Tata.Seems like a battery management system issue. If not resolved fully,push for full battery replacement under warranty

Not entirely true. On a flat road n a long drive cruise control is a bliss snd will give better range. Make sure the regen is off or at it's lowest setting.

True as we mentioned cruise control is a blessing on long routes but if the route has gradual inclined then it can give you a range difference compared to your manual pedal control where you can monitor and control how much power is consumed... that's why it's better to avoid the cruise control if you are on a route with less chargers and have a challenging mileage to achieve

Not a click bait title frankly but anyways coming to the point of marginal difference we have been in situations during our Ladakh drive that even a difference of say 10 to 15 kms have been a life saver so it's just a suggestion for people if they are in a similar situation and need to cover a distance which is pretty neck to neck with the battery percentage
