@@lumsalo Yomiholic is a ad company that works with mihoyo/hoyoverse Recently they created (leaked) a contract that prevents ZZZ creators from accepting sponsorships from anyone that can be "detrimental to their game." That could very well mean playing other games that are in direct competition like wuwa. On top of that, it states that they will force the cc to advertise and market specific things about ZZZ and say what they want the CC to say. This makes it so that they are more of a Hoyo employee instead of a CC. And on top of THAT... It's vague and threatening. They can sue you millions of dollars for breaking this contract. So basically the only way to stay safe is to lick hoyos shoes

You know I wouldn't really consider FF14 to be "open world" it's more area and zone based instead of one huge map..and the highlight of FF14 totally isn't it's world design it's more MMO, RPG, social sim yatta yatta Open world games are more, Rockstar games, Elden ring, Zelda breath of the wild. Normally lots of content to interact with FF14 Uses it's world mostly as a time filler to get to locations for quests. Not much at all to interact with

I played way too many gachas before Genshin existed, so I never had much interest in trying it out. I didn't consider other hoyo games either because they just didn't look too interesting from what I've tried before. ZZZ on the other hand. I assume it'll still have plenty of what I won't care about from gachas... but it's style is so friggin' good. It's absolutely a style I vibe with completely, so for the first time ever, I'm quite interested in a Hoyo game and am eager to try it out.

@@Kougaon nah man i watched your videos and enjoyed them, as many other people did. dont get me wrong, theres nothing wrong with moving from ff14 if you dont enjoy it as you did before. forcing yourself to play something out of habit is a bad thing, especially when you must make videos about it as a job. but nontheless, signing up these types of contracts is a bad thing to do. i get that you must get the bag. even if people genuinely enjoy making youtube videos they must earn money to be able to do it. but selling your voice is a bottom line than should not be crossed. sponsorships and paid ADs are fine, as long as they dont turn into fully paid controlled media. i genuinely wish you well bro and hope this controvercy wont take away your career as a CC, but you really shouldve given more thought before signing this contract up. especially so with all the ongoing drama around it

I played genshin for a while but I got paimoned to death; and I'm someone who wants to 100% maps. I played hi3 and I liked the story and game play more and the cutsenes soldme. it's more of a casual game I play for the story tho, hsr is the game I LOVE I'm minmaxing and neck deep into the game and the story; hsr is so much more versatile in team comps despite seeming simpler. And I'm excited for ZZZ cause I love the style.

The thing that turned me off for Hoyo games was what they turned genshin into. They started giving such little primo gems for pulls it was hard to get a character you wanted. Their twitch drops and other incentives are ass and the story was lacking for so long. Was just a giant snooze fest. Idk what it is now. Then with honkai I tried it but so many of their characters just look like modified genshin characters. Come on make your own original designs. This actually looks fun. The fact it’s not open world and characters look original, didn’t even remind me of hoyo other games. Now it will be a problem if it’s like kougan mentioned and the currency is still hard to get

I wanted to like it, but a few things keep me from wanting to try it. The before-mentioned gearing system was agony in Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail, and it sounds like its back and just as bad (if not worse) then ever. The game uses the same "ascension" system as Genshin and Star Rail, meaning enemies are always getting stronger while you're struggling to catch up. It was exactly this system that caused me to get "stuck" in Genshin when I increased my world level and suddenly couldn't kill anything/was getting destroyed, I never made it far enough to ascend in Star Rail, and ultimately quit both games because of it. The censorship. I do not support this kind of thing, period, end of discussion which means that I will never ever spend money on it. But considering the game's pull rates are just as bad as Genshin and Star Rail, and the premium currency takes forever to earn for free... it means that even if I was willing to tolerate them covering up Nekomiya, odds are slim I would ever get her anyway (300 pulls for a "guarantee" doesn't mean anything if it takes a year or more to get that far as F2P). So yeah, I think I'm still in the camp of "hasn't found a Hoyo game they like yet" because I've quit two in the last few months and I don't have much faith in Zenless Zone Zero like other people do.
