My butcher wraps all my meat in grease proof paper and then brown paper - excellent service.

I changed all my food storage containers to glass, and transfer a lot of packaged items to them. Too bad I didn't do it before the age of 64. 😭

I was born in 1952. Not much plastic in our home as I was growing up. Milk was in cardboard wax covered cartons. Water from the tap into a glass. Unfortunately when I was raising my boys everything was wrapped in plastic. Now for the last 10 years I have gone out of my way to avoid plastic. It’s very difficult.

You can have your meats wrapped in parchment paper, and then have that wrapped in plastic

Reminds me of an old joke...vegans are gonna feel real silly one day, lying in hospital, dieing of nothing. We all have a limited time and need to use discernment to find our own "good enough" in order to feel healthy at the same time as living a life we enjoy.

It took me years to finally realize that it was Topo Chico that was irritating my bladder! I’m talking years of confusion; blaming gluten, red meat and caffeine. One thing I never considered was Topo, my favorite alternative for water and soda.

The bottom line is we have very limited choices, but there are choices. I appreciate what Dr. Saladino sheds light on. It gives me things to think about and how to pick my battles. He and his guest are giving information, it is up to me to read, critically think, scrutinize, and make decisions that work for me. So far, the information he has provided has done a lot of good for my health and fitness. One question I have is are stainless steel cups and containers better than plastic? I use yeti products.

Your best isn’t good enough. If you don’t drink all your water from crystallized space glass forged with sand from beneath the Sphinx and seaweed ash from Mars’ ocean; and eat your organic meat raw (and still warm from the fresh kill you made by telekinetically convincing your prey to just die) from the exact proper latitudinal coordinate during a raspberry moon with Pluto in retrograde then you might as well just give up.

It's really hard to find some products without plastic containers. I moved to glass water bottles years ago.

@Paul Saladino. Ask them to wrap the meat in butcher paper, then vacuum seal it and freeze. That way you have a barrier between meat and plastics. I do that when I freeze my fresh meats.

yeah only drink from glass or wood. I also avoid stainless steel and all metals. Glass is the best.
