You should have booked your flight to Edinburgh or Aberdeen airport instead of London. That would have made it so much easier to get to Dundee. Now the cheapest way to get to Dundee is to book a coach from London to Dundee. Go to uk.megabus.com to book your coach. Otherwise you will have to book a train or another flight to Aberdeen or Edinburgh which is very expensive.

@@GlobalScholar1 yeah there wasn't any direct flight to either of those cities. The fair at British airways was outrageous, £5779 at the time (19th September). So I opted for Ethiopian Air. Just give me a concrete navigation from Heathrow. Taxi, Bus, plane?

There is a bit of scarcity of jobs for students due to the limited hours of work per week, with priority given to dependant if you're are coming with any because they can work full-time. Also depends on the demand for labour at the time you'll arrive.
