can also try push one side up to let the plates fall off, then the other side. need to be carefull to control once the first side falls off tho in that case. with the low safety bars its also abit easier to leaver off them when doing this. great work tho!

Your safeties are too low. This is a critical lesson. Safeties must be high enough to catch the bar before it hits your face. People have died from this mistake. Stay safe.

If you are still going for no spotter bench, you could try to strengthen your core, so you can push it on your legs and get it down. This way you don't get stuck next time in case your belly gets bigger lol. I rolled a bar with 2 plates on my abs on incline and I was fine, because I always loved my abs workout. Imo, if you are doing 2-3 plates max, your abs and legs should be there for this so you don't panic. On 4-5+ plates though, I didn't experience it yet, but that has to hurt and you will most likely need a spotter. Great set anyway!!

Amazing set, but you should’ve just had the safety bars one notch higher
