Why You Should Watch/Read Iruma

Minor spoilers but i don't reveal too many details that ruin an arc or an important moment. this series is really good, i love it so much

I like how alicred points out before the heartbreaker exam how iruma changed, and how he wants to stand out. Also, the development of characters is one of my favorite things, amelie going from serious and strict, to more refined, but also approachable. And how kelego goes from hating iruma, to understanding his ambitions, and to also keep his students safe y’know? I also love how purson soi is like where’s Waldo for people who re-read the story multiple times. And how you notice more details as you re-read. It’s like a game you can play multiple times without being bored.

I also like how characters allude to events that will happen within the story, like one of the new teachers, who’s apart of the six fingers, knowing someone who’s very good at the type of magic purson soi has, right after soi has the memory of his brother, before he disappeared. Things happen in a very specific order that makes the story of iruma kun. And little clues you can gloss over, like right before iruma talks to crocell after she gives the representative speech, he talks to Amelie, the part of his hair that looks like a scythe looked like a heart. Not to mention how iruma doesn’t have the attention span of a tiktoker, it’s great. I’m sorry for taking your time, your video was great, I was just adding on. I loved the editing!

Even the one off chapters are used to either develop the story, the characters, or both. The author even uses Chekhov’s gun, Easter eggs for future chapters, world building, and foreshadowing in a masterful way.
