Why You Shouldn't Buy the Omega 8006 Juicer Review

The reason why a lot of people buy the 8006 is because you reviewed it and said it was one of the best. That's why I bought it.

At the time I reviewed it years ago, it was the best before the NC800 came out. Since the NC800 had come out, I have promoted it after I did my original comparison to prove it was a better machine. Its important to watch my most recent episodes for the latest information,

I know you not try to deceive anyone because you show clearly how much juice each machine made. But the difference is nowhere NEAR 10%, it's more like 2%. Actually the difference is so small you really need to look closely to see any difference at all.

The NC800 didn't produce a 10% increased yield over the 8006, looked far less than that to me. In fact, the difference is hardly worth even mentioning as a selling point. The question really is if the upgraded features of the NC800 are worth the $30 higher price tag.

I have one and enjoy it. It's quiet and does a good job with juicing leafy greens. Also when extracting it doesn't produce foam like a lot of other machines. Only thing I could complain about is that the opening is kinda small for the fruit and veggies and need to be cut in smaller pieces.

Truth is, I did break a screen on my 8006. However, the excellent customer service resulted in them sending my (2) replacements when I notified them. Never broke another. Sold it on Ebay a few years back.

Thanks John. I agree, the size of the feed shoot has really discouraged me. Is it possible to purchase the front assembly minus the auger from you as an upgrade?

1. We want to offer all juicers people might want to purchase. 2. People may not see this video and still want to purchase it. 3. Some people may prefer less parts to clean, and the features the 8006 does have.

mine seems to be like the next generation nc800 except it has the small feed chute, think maybe I should get the vsj or the megamouth

What about the NC900HD? What's the difference between that and the NC800?

Only difference is the color of the motor body. The NC800 is silver and the NC900 is chrome plated plastic. Both produce identical yields and have the same juicing parts.

I have the 8004 and its ok but when I got mine there was no NC800. The only reason to get the 8004/6 is the price.

$50 less expensive for the NC800 vs the NC900. Also NC800 doesnt show fingerprints as bad and easier to maintain the finish. Yields are identical.
