Many people realize that undergoing a detox or cleanse is often both necessary and helpful to the body but don't fully know the details of what is to be done. This approach often throws them into a detox crisis. In this video I give an outline of some important considerations before attempting any cleanse.
It is important to have a clear understanding of the details behind the cleansing detoxification process before beginning and often requires one to have the proper guidance during the cleanse.
First, we should to fix the digestion before beginning a cleanse, otherwise you won't get very far if digestion is poor, since you will be making more toxins from the food each time you eat.
Next, you must prepare the body's physical channels, which take the toxins out through the bowel movement, urine and sweat, so they don't rupture as these highly acidic toxins make their way out of the body through these delicate micro-channels.
We should understand the theory behind cleansing: the four types of toxins, where they might roam and the best way to take out each type of toxin.
This video explains why detoxification should be handled in a much different way than in previous centuries, as we are now dealing with more potent, acidic and reactive toxins found in pharmaceuticals, pesticides, industrial pollutants, and nutraceuticals.
Our ancestors were never exposed to these very dangerous types of toxins, therefore all the cleanses (both Western and Ayurvedic) need to accommodate these newer highly acidic toxins which are heating up both the earth (creating global warming) and our bodies (creating an epidemic of autoimmune diseases and cancer).
The ancient cleanses which burnt out toxins through the use of very hot spices and teas have to instead be substituted with cleanses that keep the liver cool and the channels lubricated to prevent the risk of serious side effects.
I have personally seen thousands of patients through the years who have decided to detox on their own without the proper guidance of a practitioner trained thoroughly in detoxification protocols. Many of them suffered the consequences of these self-imposed cleanses as they didn't understand the basics behind the cleansing process.
You will learn why you must not take up detox on your own, but if guided by a highly skilled practitioner, you can help prevent serious diseases as you take the load off the liver and the other detoxifying organs. You will then feel light, buoyant and blissful as you rid your body of toxins which can upset the functions of the entire cellular system.
