Hey, I was recently accepted into uoft engineering and I would very much prefer a single room going in as a first year student. I know that chestnut residence only offers double rooms for first years, but does New College (willcocks) offers singles to first year's?

@@justdotoast8833 hey I’m in my first year in new college and have a single dorm- so do many of my friends :)

Like most people, I was in a dorm in first year (45 Willcocks as well) just for the second semester, and I believe it’s either a hit or a miss (depending on the person and when they’re there). For instance, I was quite introverted at the time (more than quite lol), and I think coming late (second semester) also played a factor in not being able to make friends at the dorm (since everyone already had friends). Now in my second year, I’ve surprisingly made more friends at my apartment than the dorm. Btw, your videos are extremely helpful Richard! :)

can't decide between CS of UofT and FARM of Waterloo. Any suggestions?

not richard, but if its uoft main campus then take it without a doubt its definitely the right choice in this case

@@sarimkh FARM of waterloo come with coop. CS of UofT doesn't have coop. This is what I'm concerned about.

@@yanxu4687 CS at UofT now does have a type of Coop, its called ASIP if you want to look it up. Plus, finding internships outside of the system at UofT shouldn't be a problem, its an incredible school with amazing connections. Picking FARM would be a big mistake in my opinion, especially if you actually want to do CS.
