I've been facing this problem for almost a year. I'm just 15 years old, so it removes out the fatigue from age. I've gotten to a point where I'm at my best, at my prime, where my aim, game sense, and skills are consistent and decent to clutch up games. But now it's gone, my snappy aim became complete dog sh*t, my movement became clunky, and I now kept being caught off guard causing enemies to react first. I don't know why, what or how it happened. It feels like it's just gone. I've been trying to find a way to get it back and still couldn't. I've tilted so many times to the point that I don't wanna game at all anymore. I just wanna get my prime back...

I think one of the biggest hurdles in online match making games is to accepting the fact that you might come across a bot, smurf, hacker, etc. players and there's nothing you can do to stop it and to instead of it ruining your whole match experience. Take it with a table spoon of salt and stay positive and try find away to practice amidst the chaos going on. Remember one likes to deal with this but until they can find a way to stop it completely well just have to deal with it for the time being and knowing and accepting it can happen tends to soft the blow a little when you come across it.

Super value with what’s said here. I’ve been trying too get better sniping on blops 4 nuketown. Extremely situational based game, lots of abilities, extremely fast paced. And it’s dead anyways, with only old school veterans on there now. As I continue focus on the “fun stuff”, too see the exponential growth in the shots I hit and clips I manage too pull off, it’s still minimal improvement and I make the same mistakes. But now as I practice map awareness, jump shots, sliding, ducking and weaving behind cover, being aware of my team and objectives which I always considered the “boring” stuff… the skill platue is starting too break. I feel as long as these certain things are practiced and experimented on more.

I've seen this a lot in my scene. There are so many players that live close to each other that are good that can help others improve. To better implement what is said in the video, Our scene created a Google doc of players and contact info so that who ever is available, they can practice, learn, and improve. Some ppl learn better online so a good hour of playing, feedback, and recording is done as well. It works! Each time I go to a tournament you can tell everyone is improving.

Great advise but at this point I think I'm just not meant to get better. It's like a genetics thing I guess you could call it. I've been playing games for most of my life (mostly shooters) and I just can't improve. I get into lobbys with sweats and I get destroyed. Gaming is just so oversaturated that newer players can't improve and skill based match making is a joke. Over some years I've come to realize that no matter how much I want go be good at gaming, it's never going to happen. I've also realized that people who are really good at games often don't have lives outside of the game. Shame

That happens me everytime i finally get good, its the only reason why i cant get to where i really should be, im convinced im just cursed with bad luck & bad genetics. Its a cycle. Spend months getting better, have 2-3 weeks where your doing as good as you should be, sudden drastic skill drop, do terrible for a month, start getting better over a month, 2-3 weeks doing good, skill loss. Happened me over 10 times this year & over 100 since i started playing fps games. It even happens irl too & i dropped sports cus of it im so sick of this bs. its gotten so bad that i now have a huge hatred towards anyone who is better than me even if i do the activity or not, i should be better than pretty much everyone in existence right now. I dropped “friends” just for being better than me in someway, they are now my enemy, if i even lose a match i either send them hateful messages or just block them instantly

@@IDKWHAT2NAMETHISS dang that sounds shitty ngl… I get angry when I lose but I’m not mad at the person who beat me, for me I get mad at myself. So much to the point where I’ll punch myself as hard as I can sometimes… I’m surprised I still have all of my teeth ngl.

If someone spends 1000s of hours on research and video creation for free content, but then has an optional patreon, coaching service or product, then look at as a way to support the creator. If you aren't interested that's fine, but recognize that many others find a ton of value in those things (and without them those creators would be homeless).

So I wanna improve at FPS games and your videos really inspired me. However whenever I go back and watch my gameplay and try to stop myself making the same mistakes I end up forgetting and doing it anyway. I saw the video on trying to remember and such but still cannot force myself to do it. Can anyone give me some pointers on how to go about removing mistakes and making better plays?
