This tank does have a very nicely rounded set of features. It is fast enough to reposition, good pen good alpha, good front armor, good gun depression, and the traverse is good for its size. Be careful with the side armor and avoid sniping as the gun loses pen at range pretty fast like most t8 French tanks (the improved velocity helps some).

Just got the French tank. Played 5 battles so far and won only 1 lol. Average about 2300 damage so I’m definitely holding my own. All round the tank is very solid! I like it Edit: I must say, you give the best reviews. No BS, just straight up. And you aren’t just damage hungry like some of the other KZbinrs. Not everyone in the audience is anal towards stats, and just enjoy a great battle! Keep up the good work mate.

Just bought the Amx M4 49. Second game in the tanks I got an ace mastery. The tank does not disappoint. The armor is stellar and the gun is similar to the tiger 2's. Thanks for the recommendation Martimator!

I bought this tank in Christmas auction long time ago. At the time I was looking on Blitzstars, it had a great win rate though nobody was buying it ... price kept going down. Got it for a great price and never regretted it. One thing you forgot ... it is the sexiest ht in the game .. hands down.

Bought it last year (because it's a heavy. I spend on this game only if it's a heavy being sold in gold or crates that has atleast 4% drop chance). Getting troll bounces here and there. Great gun and good mobility for a heavy. Good tank, overall.

A bit overrated. The free tiger 2 is better in almost every aspect except for the fun depression. The frontal armor on this amx is actually really meh. I mean it's quite a strong tank but why buy this when you have free tiger 2

Wdym? It has a turret that is miles stronger and the upper plate is really strong especially when hulldown. Tiger 2 turret is all grey if you have 246 or above and the hull is just as weak but you can sidescrape while amx can not

@@MarTimator look im not gonna fight your opinion, in mine this tank falls far behind the t54e2 t26e5 and even t34, the armor is semi reliable, the gun was below average even on your video coparing it to other tanks, yes it does have strengths but the drawbacks it has just dont make it the best t8 for me

Honestly when I see this tank on battle field I see it as free damage... but then my accuracy is 84.14% dont have it but looks like mobility is it's only strength, I've been in tiger 2 vs this tank many times and have always over powered it... I have to agree, this isnt even in top 3 in best t8...
