Im a free to play player, I have every brawler with two gadgets and two star powers on power 9 and 40 on level 11, some with hyper, some without it, I play since 2019 and reason players now have a difficulty upgrading is bc of the lack of coins, its just to much gold compared to star points, I for example have 21186 star points and curently 756 gold. Its really a big difference and impacts on players. A good tip for maxing out is now buying hypercharges since they are to expensive and spend your gems on the best ones when they out every month ( because they are the best offer to push your account: 1 gem=79 gold). Another thing that helped old players to progress your account was multiple things that doenst exist today: Every season reset buying two megaboxes with the ping coins (FORGOT THEIR NAMES), club rewards were better overall, I dont think the pig is really good and somehow its rewards being only luck related and not guaranted sucks honestly, and for me, when they remove scraps from the game I got 78000 coins, that helped a lot to boost my account. Hope they can balance things more for free to players and old players to finally max their accounts, nice video lan and sorry for the yapping

unfortunately i wasn't playing when they added gears since i quit in january 2021 and came back at the start of candyland season, so when they reworked gears and refunded coins for the scraps, i didn't have any since i didn't have none.

When they removed scraps i got 70k coins, i was way too happy with it and i spent it all on upgrading all of my brawlers to atleast power 10, and now, iam dying to get coins. I mean its not like my brawlers are on power 1 (most of them like 80% of them are power 11/10 and the rest are power 9) but coins are stopping me.

If u buy a skin there is no worth, if you buy a 69 gem offer for 2000 gold you get aprox.: 29 gold per gem and the hyperchrge offer- 69 gems for 1 hypercharge (5000 coins) gives you aprox 73 coins per gem you expend, so it depends that is usually a way for free to play players to get more resources

getting to p10 if you only play comp can still be a reliable way to minmax, but the 10% statboost u get from p11 can help a lot in some situations so what i do is i just p11 brawlers and hope to get their hc from stardrops (if youre a capable player you usually dont need them to win most interactions, but they make the experience of playing a character much better), since they stopped giving out free hcs for some reason... also great video! love ur commentary.

Best way to get progression is to hope supercell makes mistakes with offers, for example the 140 mega boxes for 2 dollars and the 49 mega boxes for 49 gems. Although extremely rare i recommend you guys always ALWAYS check the shop when its about to update maybe like 1 minute before it updates. I managed to snatch the 140 megaboxes for 2 dollars offer and still got to keep my brawlers, that did break my f2p streak but like, its worth it.

this math proves that we need to be able to convert pp into coins, it's so annoying to always have nearly 40k pp but no coins which you NEED MORE for all the abilities. over double the amount of pp necessary is far too much compared to how little coins we get, so good solution imo would be that we only get around 1.5x the amount of pp needed for a new brawler so new and advanced players could enjoy the benefits of upgrading as many brawlers as possible

F2p player here, and i have all brawlers at power 10 or 11. I do agree with this video, i am not getting enough gold or power points to max all brawlers, even though i have 99% of all gadgets and star powers. The hardest part of leveling up your brawlers might just be getting them to power 11. 2800 coins is just an insane amount for one brawler. And grinding mastery is a very good strategy for gold and power points, the trophy road is basically useless. (Even at 60k trophies im getting less that i would have at less trophies) And getting trophies is way harder at high trophy ranges, due to better enemies and wintraders becoming more and more common. I have started to play less because of all these things, its too repetitive.

there are side ways of getting progression, for example buying special offers with gems instead of buying skins with gems, and doing tournaments, and the devs can do events like x2 starr drops and mastery, and events like the one when we got 5 legendary starr drops, so there are inconsistent ways that can help

the channel @ShiuMing did great videos on the value of starr drops and other economy stuff. I think integrating this one with those expected values would provide a great calculation of the actual total resources a f2p can have without spending. Supercell for sure has the exact numbers down, especially the "average rewards each player gets each month". I think you can keep up the pace aas f2p if you play a lot, considering the limited time events and so on, if you play a lot. But further more precise calculations are needed

I remember the time when you were able to max out your BS account. All the star powers unlocked and all the gadgets for every brawler. Had over 80k excess gold and bought 2 true gold and 1 true silver skin. In today's state of BS you could only dream of that which is why I left in the first place. Instead of 2 SPs and 1 gadget you need 2 SPs 2 gadgets 6 gears and a hypercharge in addition to 2 new unnecessary levels. Literally impossible

An important piece of advice imo is saving your gems to buy new hypercharges with when they newly release in the shop. Kairos did the calculations, its around 60 gems per coin and it helps out with the lack of coins. For that it is crucial to save coins and powerpoints to be able to upgrade the brawlers to level 11 that get their hypers so you dont end up missing out on a hyper due to resources

I started playing in January of this year, during Kit's season. So far I've got: -Level 11 Leon (with hypercharge) -Level 11 Jessie (with hypercharge) -Level 11 Gale (with hypercharge) -Level 11 Max (with hypercharge) -Level 11 Gene (didn't get his hypercharge yet) -Level 11 Pearl (didn't get her hypercharge yet) -Level 10 Dynamike -Level 10 Carl -Level 10 Bonnie -Level 10 Jacky -Level 10 Nita -Level 9 Lola -Level 9 Griff -Level 9 Edgar -Level 9 8-bit -Level 9 Darryl (I chose him over Penny for the daily login rewards when I was starting out, so he was my first level 9. I really hope he gets buffed someday so I can play him again) Everyone else I have is somewhere between levels 1 and 8. At first I was upgrading most of my brawlers but I soon discovered it was best to focus them one by one to level up, and that's how I got my level 11s. I'm currently at 57/82 brawlers, unlocking my 5th legendary (I unlocked Leon and Spike via credits, and got Crow and Kit from legendary starr drops). Honestly even though I already knew maxing out my account was something I'd never reach, I've still been having fun unlocking just enough stuff to be able to compete in Ranked and have fun in ladder. I'm about 100 trophies away from hitting 26k trophies. Not sure if this is considered good progress for how long I've been playing, but it's been lots of fun regardless.

I actually think it's a good thing that you can't easily max your account. I used to play another game called Zooba that is pretty much a brawl stars copy, and it's also a hard game to max, however in the case of zooba, you could technically get all the characters in like 2-3 months maximum and finish the main trophy road in that time. Where it gets difficult is upgrading characters to the maximum power so they can be actually competitive, unlike brawl stars which lets you max any brawler but not all brawlers and I just prefer that since there's really no need for all brawlers since a lot of them can do the same things in different ways, just pick the ones you like and max them. I do wish they let us freely choose which characters to unlock from the starr road though but that's probably one of my only gripes about progression in brawl stars because it does limit your choices but there's always just saving up gems to buy them if they're ever discounted. I do also hate how the trophy road gives drastically less progression as you move along it which makes it a lot less rewarding to gain trophies. If they fix those two things and buff star drops a little it would probably make a lot of people happier about their progression.

Really good video with some good tips. BUT you forgot to inklude ranked as a way to get resources. Especially the legendary ones. And thats my other point that you forgot to inkoude is that you can easily get hypercharges and starpowers from legendary stardrops. You can also get gadgets from mythic sd which also saves a lot of coins, and it didnt feel like you included it to the calculation. And for the real ones that actually want to progres they can push trophies for trophy road.

This game has the best f2p progression in any game ever, and with both star drops and the free side of the brawl pass it is easy enough to get enough brawlers maxed to experience the whole package of brawl stars without spending a dime.

i mean technically at some point you will max it, depending on your luck bcuz if you arent lucky and get only rare starr drops you are never maxing your account bcuz as each season a new brawler releases you will max 1 brawler per season therefore you will always have the same amount of brawlers at low lvl you CLOUD max your account if u upgrade all brawlers at once example: you have all brawlers and you dont upgrade them to power 3 untill all of them are power 2 see the problem with that is you would still fall behind as new brawlers keep releasing and supercell limiting your coin and power point income

My Opinion: I Have 85662🏆 at the moment with only 13 brawlers at power 11, why? Because im focusing more on trophy pushing since i want to get to 100k by the end if the year, i had to get every brawler at power 10 at least to compete in 1k+ elo, and thats what i did, on some brawlers i even passed on buying gears because i find it really draining when talking about coins, i dont encourage people to do the same as me if they are a casual player, but if u want to get into trophy grinding u have to focus on EVERY brawler(im missing around 10 brawlers that are not power 10, and keep in mind that the only payment i do is the brawl pass, because every resource offer had bad price value and wont get u much), so if u want to get to high trophies like 70k+ but dont have power levels, focus on every brawler, if u are casual and mostly play ranked focus on your brawlers one by one, hope thie helps!

i am free to play, play since 2018 and got all brawlers maxed out (2SP, 2 gadgets) with 37 hypercharges. But obviously mostly only 2 gears and not 6. It is not hard to stay maxed, just impossible to become maxed from ground on now

true but u will also lose about an estimated 15-20% more of ur games since the average winrate for high trophies or ranked with a decently fitting brawler within the meta is still only about 50% or even below and with a missing hypercharge and missing damage/health about 1/4 games there will be occasions where for example in heist the enemy safe has like only 5% left when ur safe gets destroyed and that 5% could've probably been dealt with if u had that bit of extra damage, same with all the other modes if u really think about it

actually...upgrading a brawler who doesn't have hypercharge is not bad at all , I mean you upgrade some random brawler to power level 11 and then all you have to do is just wait until the brawler gets hypercharge , so you can have hypercharge early and that's why I upgraded kit to power level 11

I mean, i maxed it already, and it stayed like that for multiple months before devs added lvl11, and now all my brawlers are lvl11 and 24 out of 37 (43) brawlers have hypercharges, also most brawlers have at least 2 gears (including all mythic and epic ones). And i even have 2 gold and 3 silver skins on my account, all completely f2p

Been free to play my hole life and my acc was fully maxed out untill gears dropped I quit and came back for the 100 stardrops event and then hypercharges are thing now but I got 12 hypercharges from now been playing for a year hope my ranked drops get me some hypercharges this season

It gets worse to unlocking a new brawler with fame cause you can't convert the credits of fame to the new brawler and you need to wait until he releases to unlock him. As an f20 i hate that. I wish i could have credits to go to a new brawler all the time or at least that we can if we have all the brawlers to switch up to the new brawler at least when early access offer releases instead of when the season ends.

supercell is smart and keeps grinding your money, btw 500 per gear and 3k hyper is fair enough for all the players. (underrated opinion: actually the level system could be deleted, so all players can experience max level brawlers without needing to upgrade, why is the level system required if we’re all gonna max it out one day?)

This is exactly what i do already. Almost all my brawler are power 10 with mostly only the hypercharged maxed out. I have about 20. About a month ago i got like 5 HCs for free which made me soo happy coz i got to save so much 😊

I usually max out brawlers until they get to silver two mastery cause of the coins but is extremely hard it feels like brawl stars matches you up with lower iq I mean lower skill level so you can keep playing is that just me it’s also very difficult to pass rank 27 without ridiculous high skill teammates

Too many estimations to be 100 accurate, count in only buying hyper charges with gems from free brawl pass, and subtract the mastery track rewards from the price of maxing every brawler for easier calculations
