Divorce is at 50 % and woman file 70 % of the time. She said women cannot seperate fact from emotions. Very true, don't sign anything men, your going to regret it if you do.

Women file 80% of all divorces, also women are cowards when it comes to talking things out with their men, they expect men to read their minds.

This is so true in my opinion. Never been married but dealt with long term relationships and all of this applies. It's really difficult to broach the subject of how childhood stuff affects adult relationships because no one cares to acknowledge how powerful those experiences are in their personalities.

Knocked a girl up, had daughter born on my 18th birthday, she divorced me before I was 20, payed my child support religiously even though my ex rarely let me see my child, and wanted me to give up my rights, remarried at 22 to a smart, level headed, woman that loved me more than I did her. , she treats my daughter well and they are very close, she's the one my daughter would call when her babies were small and she had a mom question,as my daughter grew up she realized that her mom was the problem and quit speaking to her 15 years ago, my second wife has always put us first even over our 2 children, we've been married over 43 years.

Thank you for sharing. This gives me some hope that there are still women out there are aren't out there to screw over men. My ex-wife tried to put an order of protection and against me and to suspend all visitation to my daughter. It failed because she made up accusations she couldn't prove. She uses my daughter as a weapon and I have 17 more years of hell to deal with (NY child support is now till the child is 22).

On my second marriage and my wife's first. The lack of emotional intelligence on her part is definitely a problem. If it ends this will definitely be my last. I did the work on myself but unfortunately I married someone who hasn't. Took me 6 years to marry her because I didn't want to ever do it again but I finally did it because it was important to her. Now I wish I had just stuck to my guns. 😒 The blended family dynamic is definitely the main issue also. It's tough.

You let a woman pressure you into marriage? Man I'm so sorry to hear that. She put you in the beta zone from day one and forced you to give up your one and only source of power in the relationship. Men are the gatekeepers to commitment. Once you give her that key, she holds every single card. And she has the law and the government to back her up. Get a great lawyer and start preparing now, because odds are that's what she's already doing.

I lived through two failed marriages #1 infidelity, #2 It's complicated , #3 We made a promise to each other that in any choice affectinged both of us we would put each other first. We both kept that promise. The trust that grew from that was liberating. We truly enjoyed our marriage. It never required all the effort that is so common. Tragically, I lost her to cancer. Eventually I decided to marry again. Marriage #4 if it worked in #3 it should work in #4 . So, we made the promise but later found it wasn't enough. Long story short, we discovered and learned about childhood wounds. We worked our differences out and our marriage became all that we hoped it would be. We have a loving marriage and like each other's company as a bonus. As you noted, understanding the huge impact childhood wounds can have on a marriage cannot be overstated. Do the work , save your marriage.

Second marriages are the triumph of hope over experience. After getting divorced at 50, I met lots of women who'd been married and divorced multiple times (one 6 times!). Without exception, they all said "I've really learned a lot about what it takes to make a marriage work." My thought was that the lesson that should have been learned was that marriage isn't for everyone, specifically the person I was speaking with.

I've also never married and I'm now 71. I wanted to, but didn't meet the right person. I've asked people if I've missed anything, and been told "no". However, I met a woman almost 32 years ago, and we've been very close since then. She's divorced--her husband cheated and divorced so he could go with the other woman, but then changed his mind. We live in different states now, but I call every evening, and visit for a week or so every few months. She's over a decade older than I am, and is starting to have mobility issues. This has worked out pretty well for both of us, but it's still not quite like being married.

I like someone she has been married once maybe twice and I've never been married. We're both over 50. I look at how we connect and I judge her on who she is today and so far I am being the emotionally strong man that she might need. With her it just comes naturally for me. Sometimes women need a strong man not one of these simps that society turns men into. Also I think hormones make people get into marriages and at a certain age the hormones slow down and people can think clearly. I'm talking about my self too.

I got married at 21, divorced at 37. I am now 51 and nowhere close to being married. If I do get married again, I don't think it will end in divorce. I am much older and have more life experience. I am not going to get married without knowing someone really well first. Kids are almost all grown up now. I have one still in highschool. The rest of my life, is a much shorter time frame than it used to be. The chances of dieing are greater than divorce. I have been through one divorce and it was the worst experience ever. I am not going to let that ever happen to me again.
