Hi Cat, your makeup looks stunning and natural. Great tips, I agree a brush is so much better with a foundation, if I use a sponge sometimes the foundation just sits on top of my skin. The only tip I have is when I want my makeup to last long, at the end of all the makeup application I lightly spray a large powder brush with setting spray, I and lightly dab it all over my face. Hi Cat, l love all my foundation l use, because I get mine from Mac, but l don't use Mat foundation anymore, because it leaves it cakes sometimes, so l get the hydration ones all the times, l leave my skin care on for 1 hour now, because I find when I do that, my foundation and my makeup looks flawless all day, hugsssss ❤❤❤

Thanks Cat! Those are great tips. I’ve been mixing Elf’s Halo Glow often with my foundation for a little extra 🌟 and have also started using a setting spray. You’re definitely right about spending a bit more time to press your foundation in. It makes such a difference in how it wears. Have a fantastic and restful Christmas with your family. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Hi Cat….thank you for reminding us to give our skin care and sun screen and primer time inbetween to absorb properly into our skin. It does make a difference as your foundation was flawless. I don’t wear foundation but back when I tried, my issue was trying to find the correct shade, undertones etc. I sometimes will use a skin tint as it’s way more forgiving in color. The Canada Post strike is over as of last week …for now as the Govt forced them back to work. I immediately mailed you a card but I honestly don’t know when you’ll receive it with the backlog they have to get through. Hi Cat, that's how l learned to do my makeup years ago, always blending it after you put the powder on, and then l spray it with setting spray Charlotte Tilbury setting spray, and my lipsticks is also Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks and lip glosses too, hugsssss ❤❤❤

My issue is n has always been matching. When I was younger my skin was all one shade but now that I'm way older my skin tone is so horribly uneven finding a foundation match feels absolutely impossible 🥺. Brows is my 2nd worst issue next to shade matching 😓.

I was the same way @angeb1929. My hyperpigmentation was so dark, and my complexion was very uneven. I've been treating my hyperpigmentation with some good results. It was really predominant this past summer, but I started using Drmtlgy Hydra Fader, and it works! I still have it. However, it's not so dark! When it was really dark, I used a foundation shade that was between my actual skintone and my hyperpigmentation, and it looked so much better!
