It sounds beautiful but I've done this over and over and still no progress. Its like the people I work for don't recognize the work that I do, even though others do.

This comment really resonated with me for a few reasons. 1. That terrible and incredibly frustrating. Having others outside of your team recognize the value, but not the people directly on your team, would be so painful. On a personal level, I'd think about connecting with those who do see value to see if there are options and ways you can move your talents to a different part of the organization. I haven't done that myself, but it would be worth exploring to see because sometimes it's really 'not you, it's them'. 2. As I'm just getting started, this comment really helped me crystallize what I want to do here on KZbin. The truth is, no one is an expert. As the old saying goes, "What works for others might not work for you". It's made me rethink how I want to share advice. I'm still going to do it, but I think we'd all benefit from less "definitives" and more ideas and collaberative approaches. I'll try to make some more content on potential ways to change perception or to make the move to other areas - but I'll be sure to make it more in the suggestions area. Really appreciate the feedback; now let's see if I can repay you by help you find the way to take the next step!
