We LOVE the Grande Ronde with the kids. It's been our yearly standard since they were both babies. We put off the rogue for a while, or said no to invites until finally we just went for it. So glad we did. I feel like a ton of other rivers are opening up now! Yampa? Lower Salmon? Middle Salmon?!?!? 💥✨

What was your mindset around naps? We took our oldest on day floats and she'd fall asleep on Mom. With our second child we worried it'd be a bit too much to juggle when the youngest got grumpy and tired.

Such a great question. It's a hard period where #2 is napping and #1 isn't. We're in it right now! My approach is to, honestly, just push #2's naps out or do them in weird places. In other words, he gets a bit neglected, but it happens generally. My overlay approach to napping is that we can either have a great napper or we can live our lives adventurously and just make the best of it!
