Scrolling is the biggest drainer of energy. We need to all get better at cutting down screen time and swap with real time things.

You can go for a walk, or work out, or clean your house instead of scrolling if you want to empty your head. I realised that I waste time by earning money to creators by scrolling through KZbin when I can be working towards a better body, a better job offer, a new degree, a higher salary (yeah, it comes with strings, your rich corporate employer will buy another yacht), or even a better relationship with your family and friends.

I have been unemployed for a very long time, moved to a new country a year and a half ago and do not know ANYONE here. Although my accounts are active, I don't use social media but for years, YT has been my biggest distraction. Also, I have been studying some IT stuff for some time to try to have a better career and I do basically everything around the house but to sum up, I spend/waste most of my time in front of a screen, and life is going by...

Hi Liam. I love how your video has elements of balance! We always get swept into the currents of the grindset culture and that anything that's not pushing your career or helping you make money is essentially useless, but your information suggests otherwise! Thanks for another great video.

Liam- great video. I love the idea of making a list of things you can do when you have time. True story- when I met my husband I fell super hard for him. I knew I was spending too much time thinking about him when I wasn’t with him so I literally made a list of things to do when I was thinking about him too much! It all worked out pretty well as we have been married almost 13 years. That started me on the habit of making list of things to do when…. Whatever. Love the ideas you shared. Some of them were the same as ideas on my list, and a couple were new to me. I will add them to my list!

You're living a life I admire to live man :) might be a little sadist of me to write this, but make a video on the other side of things also, recently I came across a post from a motivational speaker telling that he was in depression for the past last year due to COVID and stuff and has eaten a lot of junk and things like that, and that makes me feel more connected to him, seeing okay sometime things go the other way for him too yk, loved your content, keepgoing

🎯 The average American has 5 hours of free time per working day plus weekends. 📱 People spend 5 hours a day looking at screens outside of work, affecting their well-being. 💬 Contact friends and loved ones to make their day happier and feel good about yourself. 🎧 Listen and walk to enjoy audio books or podcasts while getting exercise. 👥 Be your social circle's organizer and plan activities that bring joy to your friends' lives.🌍 Learn a language with platforms like LiveXP, which offers private tutoring with native speakers. 💻 Organize your digital life by decluttering your inbox, camera roll, and phone setup. 📝 Plan meals, do chores during the week, review finances, set birthday reminders, stay informed, and consider freelancing for extra income.

I really appreciated this video, Liam. I'm currently in between jobs and while my job search takes up a lot of time (naturally) and I do have a small side hustle, I have at times struggled to figure out what else I should do to fill my time. I am someone who actually likes to clean so I've been taking on more of the housework during this interlude, yet I also have tried to take some of this unexpected down time to rest and relax like you say at the end.

As a freshman college student I’m new to the workload and I feel like I have no free time because I’m always studying maybe I’m over studying but when I try to give time to myself I feel stressed and I feel like I’m not resting properly so maybe it’s the screen time I have because I don’t feel like I have time so maybe I’m going to start to get some productive hobbies thanks Liam for the tips.

The content outlines various activities that can be done in one's free time to enhance happiness, fulfillment, and stress reduction. The author, a corporate lawyer with a busy schedule, emphasizes the importance of efficiently utilizing free time, such as 60 hours a week, for personal development and well-being. The 13 suggested activities include maintaining contact with friends and family, engaging in physical activities like walking while listening to audiobooks, organizing social events, learning new languages, managing digital clutter, planning meals, doing chores, reviewing finances, remembering birthdays, staying informed, freelancing, taking online courses, and relaxing with TV shows. These activities are designed to balance productivity with relaxation and personal growth.

I just heard you say you watch reality TV. I watch a bit because those involved and in diguise are the " pillars of society" It takes a bit of time to figure out who is who, but I figure it out eventually. There is a great deal of "dirty laundry" air in reality TV. The one I watch. All I can say is Sheeeezus Christ!
