The fresh example for not to beleive/follow the news is recent market crash... Every news channel projected the bullish move and i short my options by violating my strategy missed a chance to book huge profit....

Great video Rayner! truly useful advices! And when it comes to myself, again, too bad that some of the things (points - at least two of them) you've said today, I had to learn the hard way myself, by making those mistakes... BUT, the important thing (maybe even more important than successfully learning how to be in profit from the "get go") is to be capable to rise up again, after the failures you've had! Afterwards, you're no longer the same person, you only have the memories from the one you used to be! Again, thank you for everything you're doing here! Giving free advices to ppl from all over the world, who want to learn and who are trying to earn some money, in an honest way! Ciao!

Great topic to cover, Rayner. I must thank you for some of your earlier videos as they helped me ENORMOUSLY when I was just starting out. I am a much more competent trader because of them. I also think it's worth mentioning that a great book every trader should read would be "Trading in the Zone" by Mark Douglas. It totally changed the way I feel when I trade and has made a much better trader because I am now free of fear and greed. It takes a lot of practice but you WILL overcome those feelings and accept risk as part of what you do.

I was entering to trade this stock that's already like +18% that day and went +25% the day before, it matched with my swing trade drawing so yea why the fuck not lmao. Got cutloss'd at like -3% the same day and later that day it goes +5% more. The next day it goes +25% more and the following friday when I expected it to goes downhill; it actually goes +15% more. I'm basically just a philanthropist for my brokers at this point
