I keep saying on Chimera videos (not yours, anyones), Lars CANNOT negate DRNM. Lars need to chain DIRECTLY to opponents card or effect, so chaining anything to DRNM (chimera fusion, w/e) completely cooks you. Specially if its chimera fusion ....

@@frerkism well he IS a yugi player like you yourself, and like me too. We all at some point, either misread, didn't think of the wording, or just up and forgot the wording on several cards at some point

Hi I’ve been thinking about Chimera Unchained because with Chimera you can get to Fiendsmith and than you can go to areal eater and to Unchained combo. Your end board will be a hand rip Coatl Mirrorswordnight Guardian chimera Wave High King ceaser Unchained trap and the Soul of Rage. If you think that it’s a good idea can you please try out. I feel like it’s a a little bit more fun than Fiendlink and adds an extra engine to Chimera

This deck always has and always will struggle going 2nd. Handtrap lineup just cannot compete and when your hands are cluttered this deck easily loses to 1-2 interruptions

Because you aren't supposed to handtrap them you are supposed to use boardbreakers imo the engine is too large to add 9-12 handtraps

@@ProfessionalKZbinWatcher I agree, but as of right now this deck just feels like a dice roll dependent deck. With the engine being so large in the list you will often times have cluttered hands and very inconsistently draw the boardbreakers you need to play through when going 2nd.

@@gabelopez781 yea at the end of the day if you got negated a bunch of times then maybe you already lost, but I like the deck going second because all you have to do is make it so they don't have anymore effects and you can otk pretty easily, which is why I like evenly matched, lightning storm or super poly because it can quickly take out 2-3 interruptions

Crazy that Extra Deck space is so tight that you have to put Illusion Beast in the Side Deck! What happens after the new Fiend Fusion (2+ Fiends or Zombies) that allows an extra Normal Summon arrives? More pain trying to figure out how to be able to fit these cards into the Extra and Side Deck. Kind of wish we could go to a 20 card Extra Deck as part of Master Rule 6 at this point. That, and have both players skip their Draw Phase, let the player who goes second draw 6 cards instead of 5. Would create a really interesting gameplay environment with a game that is otherwise very much stale right now and in need of revitalization.

Bro, I love chimera... its my favorite deck so far. And i faced the same issues about the extra deck being tight. and I was telling myself I wish they make it 20 slots too, but after u think about it. ull find 15 slots for the extra is healthy for the game in general. I did some research about it and that was my conclusion!

People say that more extra deck slots will make combos decks powerful and broken Which is a lie of course Look any snake eye or yubel combo They use like only 30% of their extra deck in the best combo More extra decks helpe deck like branded heros chimera maybe pendulum too But not combo they already have all of what they need

Not a very helpful deck profle tbh. show some plays, combos, strategies to play around certain cards, etc.
