And I hate that because there’s so much more better AND free things in Bedrock and almost everybody who is a sensible person ignores the marketplace crap anyways, but Java players think that we encourage it when we really don’t.

i disagree with how there's much better and free stuff in bedrock, i may be shortsighted because i don't play much bedrock but i think bedrock's main advantage over java is that it has way better optimization making it perform much faster, and i heavily prefer java mostly because it allows me access to custom heads and nbt tags plus the java community had made numerous tools for armor stands and to make building way easier

Yeah I think it's safe to say that we all already know that Java has so much more than Bedrock and Vise Versa, but I was kinda talking about the fact that a lot of Java players immediately think about the Marketplace and 'pay to win' when Bedrock comes up but at the end of the day, that Marketplace button is ignored by like 97% of Bedrock players, so it doesn't even effect the core game at all. (Also thank you for being nice about how you presented your statement because sometimes people don't do that)

The voting tactic for new update features really is terrible because it literally just production of new concepts and scrapping or even blacklisting the losing ones. And it also disallows everyone to be happy. Like I remember hearing something about the Mesa and Badlands getting their moment of truth later after losing to Taiga but I haven't heard anything since, which I'm not even sure if they were lying.

I used to play bedrock edition but switched to java edition last year so I could play on some better servers and it seems that in that time a lot of children who probably decided to start playing because of dream's videos go to bedrock edition because they only have a mobile device. The only reason I still use the bedrock version for it’s performance, and cross platform capabilities. That and the fact that because the Java version supports modding, my parents think modding is illegal, so when I tried bedrock back when it was in it’s Windows 10 edition beta version, my parent moved my Mojang account to a new email to make sure I didn’t have access to the version that supports mods.

Minecraft bedrock recently got this really trash “bug fix” update which just added more bugs. first of all I like how you can view the achievements from the home screen and I like how the “profile” button got changed to “dressing room” because it makes more sense. but holy guacamole i cannot even enter a world in under 45 seconds because of how laggy the home screen is. all my worlds are extremely laggy too, every 10 seconds i’ll freeze up for like a second and it’s so annoying i really hope they fix it soon

I coded 20 minigames so far. 4 or 5 of them are actually public, these include spleef and tntrun. I would have said they just dumped my stuff on their server, but nope, sorry, my games performed so much better even though i was relatively young and unexperienced, plus never really optimised them.

Another thing that upsets me is that for all servers I've seen in bedrock is that you have to pay for fancy stuff. Compared to java servers, you can grind for upgrades and cosmetics and it's quite satisfying when you do reach what you've been grinding towards. I hate the P2W attitude bedrock has. The only thing I will say is that the servers are less toxic compared to java. (Which is really only the reason I play bedrock) The rest of the time I play java for mapmaking.
