The one who you asked whether he was kicking him, he was signaling to the rider behind to pass him that side. They sometimes do that if a faster rider is coming up on them, especially if they are being lapped or they have a problem with the bike.

30 yrs ago I was one of the crazies on this road coarse. It is hard and dangerous but that is what brings us to it. To race it and race it hard and hopefully survive it. Dying was never a fear for me or the others. We never thought about it. We just punched it hard and rode hard and it was a blast! The body and the bike become one and you just know that road coarse from all the three weeks of practice and maps they give you before hand. ISLE OF MAN has killed many and I almost died when my bike got the death wobble coming out of a turn at 120 mph. I saved it even though I have no idea how, it scared the shit out of me so I just punched it and went faster! You have to make the bike part of you. Animals have caused many crashes as well as human error and bikes breaking. I got lucky in that respect. I look back and think what the hell was I doing? I could have been dead and should have been a few times yet I got through it. It was just a young mans obsession with speed. I am proud to say that I did that and lived to tell the story!

When riding you actually turn the bars to the right to go left and left to go right. While the turn is very little this keeps the bike and center of gravity on the tires. I've ridden for 40 years and a lot of people think you just lean the bike over. NOOOOI!!!! About all of your lean comes from turning the handle bars. ♥️👍

Thanks for your reaction. So to answer some of your questions, this video is a jumble of clips - in no particular order - of a number of road races, mainly in Northern Ireland (NI) with the Ulster Grand prix in Co Antrim NI and the track at the end without the music located in Tandragee, Co Armagh NI. The other clips I believe are of the southern 100 race held on the Isle of Man - An Island in the Irish Sea between Uk NI and Ireland. These races take place on closed public roads as there are no significant race tracks to race bikes in these areas, so riders risk there lives and race on the roads, with a good number of fatalities occuring over the years - none shown in you video.

Motorcycle road racing is probably the pinnacle of what you can do with petrol. Rallying comes a close second.

There have been 250 deaths at just The Isle of Man TT races. There is NOTHING normal about these races, the talent and bravery these guys have is unique in the world. 200 mph with exposed brick walls in corners is EXTREMELY dangerous, one wrong twitch and you are dead.

The final races of the 2024 TT are 6/08/24 (tomorrow]. There was a Dr John Hinds who raced and developed a harness of a chest pack and a Back Back and 4 leg packs. That a DR, He mostly would follow the first lap of the race and then pull into the pits and wait for the call of an accident and he would race out of the pits at racing speeds to the scene of the accident to provide 1st responder to racers, corner flag people and fans. There are many videos of him on U-tube with him giving talks about treating motorcycle crash patients. He was so laid back and funny in these presentations. IN 1 at the end of a lectures he show a pic of a racer at his first race after losing right leg below the knee. So he had two prosthetic legs, one for walking and one for racing his bike. Whats he doing in the pic? Sitting on a plastic 120 Gallon container of aviation fuel a big smile on his face and a lit cigarette in his hand. Dr Hinds was killed on a race weekend responding to a crash where he also crashed losing his life. Motorcyclists and race fans showed up from all of Ireland, The Isle Of Mann, and the UK for his funeral. Like in multiple 1000's.

Isle of man tt is the big event for this circuit, culminating with the senior race on the last day. This is the one everyone wants to win, 1000cc 4 cylinder bikes with over 200hp. Top speed over 200mph!

The location is Portrush to portstewart and Coleraine, public roads that go around the north coast of Ireland ,,, I walk 3 minutes to the end of the road to watch the race

1:09 What you have just witnessed are the greatest most talented riders in the entire world. Even moto GP(formula 1 equivalant) riders won't race here as it is too dangerous.
