How brilliant is this song by the master song writer Chris Broom? He can reasonably be described as a musical genius. Now for the vocals. Lucy Thomas is absolutely of superstar quality of that there is no doubt and she will be just that, a superstar, in time. Will Callan already has a blossoming career in musical theatre. His credentials are established. Back to Lucy, we can go on and on but in the end words cannot do her justice. We don’t need them because her singing sings/speaks for itself.

Will Callan is presently performing in Les Mis in London's West End. Lucy met him at the Voice Kids UK and I believe has done the odd duet with him since then. Thank you for your lovely comments on Lucy, she is someone very special and a lovely, kind person as well.

Lucy is most likely the best female vocalist of this generation. World class! She is probably the 'music treasure' of this decade and maybe even this century. Lucy brings back the kind of singing that most people love. Her talent, ability, dedication and commitment is is evident in every song she sings. Lucy has already accomplished so much and has just turned 20 years old. She has done all this without the help of the sleepy mainstream media! If Lucy continues her career in theater and live performances, God willing, Lucy Thomas will go down in history as a legend, and celebrated as have been all the great ‘Divas’ of the past!

Hello Marie, just a lovely reaction from for this beautiful song by Lucy & Will, you were right these two wonderful singers will be the leading Lady & Leading Man for this brand new musical " Rosie " last night Lucy was on stage for a live public concert in Manchester England and as far as I can see there was so many fans from the States there, she sang 15 songs, and two with her sister Martha. The feedback I have heard that the concert was just outstanding, many people crying with all the emotion that Lucy gives, I beleive the organisers have filmed a DVD of the concert so at least we can see her sing live. Will has for the last couple of years been on Stage both in the West End and on a nationwide tour of Les Mis in the role of Marius once his stint is done he will be taking his role in Rosie as soon as it starts. They have known each other for ages both being voted off as losing semi finalists on the same series of the Voice kids UK.

You are correct about Lucy's rendition of 'Evergreen', yes Babs has been one of the major vocalists over the last 40 yrs or so,but Lucy's interpretation is stunning,i don't know how she does it,how she adapts to different stiles of music like knowone else i know!,she is a special tallent!

It is off the C.D.Beyond It was written by Chris Broom. I have Lucy's first 5 C.D.s.I am waiting for the sound track to Rosie.I suspect Will will be on that one as well

To my taste Will Callan's voice is boring, maybe that's just compared to who he is singing with. I don't think so though, I believe I would still find his voice monotonous if i just heard him singing on his own.

Very nice, and of course Lucy's voice is especially great. Although his voice should match it. Especially because it's quite contrasting and he has a very nice, deep male voice. But something bothers me about this recording. Something is missing. There's no spark. The chemistry between the two is not right.

@@Lobo53 Lucy does NOW out sing Will, but that was not the case in their first two songs waaay back The Day I Met You and Can I Have This Dance when Lucy was 14, and Will bellowed all over Lucy drowning her out, Lucy is more powerful now but they may have also told Will to tone it down, you do NOT drown out the leading Lady !!

WOW !!!! I cannot believe you .....This song HOLD ON is an original for the Musical ROSIE and has NOTHING to do with streisand yet you have to bring her up !!!! WHY ???? The CD for ROSIE is being released and yes Will duets with Lucy on 2 songs on it so we can assume he is in the musical. there is also another woman singer and a child, Norah Thomas, no relation, who will sing the opening song ONE DAY as a young ROSIE about her dreams....FYI on ALL of Lucy's video click on the word MORE in the worded heading and Lucy expands on info there, song history original composer singer. the info is there to educate.......

Yes raycornford, you are absolutely right. Unfortunately, Wilbur can't really understand that using comparisons for a reaction video is more than permissible and that those from whyamirection were only positive. I've noticed this a few times now in Wilber's comments. I think he's just an extremely big fan of Lucy and whe gets the feeling that Lucy is missing out in a video or even being attacked he gets very emotional. Just my impression. But everyone should feel free to comment on how they think, including the reactors, as long as it doesn't get too personal. One more thing before any misunderstandings arise, I'am a big fan of Lucy and Martha myself.@@raycornford283
