Great advice and info..This video is a MUST watch for ANY man entering thailand as a foreigner. Especially if they are a first timer/newbie..I would go so far as to say that Men should watch this video on their airplane ride into Bangkok. Should even be FORCED to watch it on the tarmac as the plane taxis into the gate..Otherwise they dont get their passport stamped at immigration....LOL...Hey at the end of the day, this advice only HELPS a man live their best worry free, stress free life, while staying in Thailand...As you so well put it..

That video probably saved a few people from being scammed. I agree, if your going to so this, dont be cheap. I've always heard the girls on the street are out there for a reason. One of those reasons could be she failed her health check. I'm sure theres plenty of good ones but you are always taking a chance. Great video.

Hi Mark great video mate. I personally have the Tourist Police number on my Phone, the number in Phuket is 1155. The odd occasion I've had an issue, I give them a ring. They'll help with the genuine cops, and the dodgy ones arseholes cave in usually. You just got to have the strength of character to ring them. Especially if you've done nothing wrong. If you have done something wrong, tough! The secret is, keep your brains in the head on your shoulders.😉👍

You know Nigel that's 100% correct cuz I remember you telling me the story of having that phone number in your contact list. the trouble is a lot of guys panic in those situations cuz they think they've done something wrong or they think that they're going to get in trouble for hiring the girls in the first place. Been to Thailand for 2 or 3 months every year for 20 years never had any trouble just lucky I guess. Probably just used to it and know what to look out for. Understanding Thai language helps too. Most problems occur when tourists drink too much or get involved in drugs.

One incident I personally know of 10 years ago my friend on his first trip to Phuket woke up in a field outside the city minus his wallet and could not remember how he got there. He had to call family to send him funds. He had a drinking problem at that time so serves him right. Going back years ago a major scam was the card game scam quite a few fell victim to it.

As for me I just don’t like to drink much and hate the bar scene and feel more comfortable in a familiar room. As usual I enjoy your videos, you have great presentations. However I do not agree that you should not bring a freelancer to you hotel. That is in my opinion the safest as you are already familiar with it and a reputable hotel would not allow another person to enter your room without your permission and the front desk staff has a good radar recognizing quickly as to what may be going on. Of course the hotel has to be guest friendly and all valuables need to be in the safe. Peace

Here's why I don't agree with bringing freelancers back to your room okay.... you do not know who you're bringing back to your room you also don't know whether or not someone is following you.. Furthermore most of the front desk workers here don't give a s*** about the guests that's just the truth and there is also the possibility that they may be friends with the freelancer... furthermore since the covid restrictions and mandates have been lifted here very few properties are asking for the girls IDs this I know for a fact look all I'm saying is protect yourself as best as you can because nobody else is going to.. I myself would never invite a freelancer back to my room so that they can see what I have cameras computers clothing bags anything I would not let them in to my room to see this stuff.. yes everyone's going to say oh you have a safe in your room but I can tell you if I went to 50 rooms today 45 of them would have s*** lying around everywhere including their passport their wallet money etc etc because again guys lose all sense and sensibility when they come here. . I can look out right now at my compound and I can see five different rooms here that have all kinds of expensive sneakers and stuff sitting outside of the room on racks that can easily be stolen at any time... At the end of the day you're putting a whole lot of faith in a freelancer I'm sorry but I don't think that's a wise life choice

When I first got to Thailand I was staying at the Carlton on sukhumvit and down the road on 33rd alley was a nice soap place where I lived that dream. As soon as my day of quarantine was over…yessir! They had quite a few beautiful Japanese ladies. It was a highlight of my life 🙂. @@pietromora2297 yes before I went I researched everything that I needed to know and didn’t walk in blind so I knew what to expect lol only thing I didn’t know about was the Bolt app and the Grab app which no one ever talks about which is of great use. I went to Underworld sea Pattaya on my own and after I left the cabs were layed up waiting on foreigners to charge to get back to wherever their destination was I asked how much just to see what he’ll say and it was double the price of the Bolt app I estimated before I asked then laughed and I said to him “I have the bolt app” then that muthafucka laughed cause he knew he was trying to rip me off lol Bolt app eliminates all of that it’s like taking a Uber but pay with cash after destination easy trips and estimates

Hey Doc, Just got back from Krabi. Zoey & I took a long boat on a tour of Hong Island. We went with Barracuda Tours, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! They picked us up at our hotel & took us there & back. no man that's not even remotely true there are some hotels that will take the ID but for the most part A lot of them just turn a blind eye to it.. I know a bunch of different girls that work in the hotel industry here and they all tell me the same thing most guys are too embarrassed to stop at the front desk. Okay mate you make a couple of valid points, although honestly you sound a little dramatic. This only happens to very stupid people, because seriously mate if they give their ID to reception you shouldn't have a problem. And you make sure you take anyone back to your room that doesn't set a good standard, you know yourself don't take a lady that looks or smells like she doesn't shower. Common most hygienely clean ladies you can tell. Of course it helps to know a little bit of Thai lingo. But I,ve stayed with freelancers , and bargirls alike, never really worried about that mate. Yes maybe I,ve been lucky. But my experiences have told me always see their reactions and nature before you take them with you. Your right about bargirls but if you had a problem you know where to go the next day, to work it out. And seriously mate I,ve stayed with 2 ladies on multiple occasions and never had any problems with my valuables. Because if your smart you never ever show them that info. 1 rule in Thailand always leave you Passport and money In the safety box or Reception with a 2 key system and padlock. I mean the times I,ve stayed with 2 ladies just make sure they are in the shower with you and if you have anything of value. Keep it 💯 hidden from them. And about spiking drinks we'll goes back to the characters of the lady your with. Like I said if you invite trouble your probably going to find it. Just keep your wits about yourself and you can get through life without to many major drama. Like I said mate you are just letting people know that it can happen, and after Covid maybe in Phuket it is happening to stupid people. Because Thais have become a little more desperate. But from what I just experienced in Pattaya 1 month ago I was going gangbusters and for what it is worth I had no problems, only the fact I was a little to generous with ladies drinks, but that's always on the cards. It's a holiday anyway mate 👍 seeya

The idea is to be dramatic so that people understand the importance of keeping yourself safe... as far as showing ID to the front desk I'm telling you right now that less than 30% of the hotels here are getting girls to do that I know this for a fact.. So sadly enough the whole ID at the front desk thing doesn't help when you're bringing freelancers back to your room who are trying to scam you do you honestly think they're going to carry their ID with them??? also I expressly state in the video that they take you to a room that they have chosen. I also go on about the fact that you should not bring girls back to your room especially freelancers because it's just stupid why would you want them coming and seeing what you have and knowing where you live. a lot of people don't realize this but most of the freelancers are friends with the girls that work at the hotels and I will tell you something it's quite easy to convince a girl for a thousand baht to let them into your room guys you can believe it or not it's up to you I'm just trying to help people. and yes you should keep your stuff locked in the safe but I'm going to tell you something I can walk into 50 rooms today and there's going to be 45 guys that have their s*** lying out everywhere.. so at the end of the day do I come off as dramatic in the video of course I do I'm trying to make it entertaining and have people understand that they need to protect themselves.

the point about this scam guys is that they're not real cops they're fake cops they're people that are pretending to be cops now sadly enough some of the cops here are definitely crooked and they're taking bribes from people and working in tandem with these scammers but it's very very few of them. Shit I must have been lucky. For 1000 baht I got two nice Laos girls on beach rd Pattaya and we walked to this short time room with mirrors on the wall. The room cost 300 baht for two hours. Normally 200 baht but 100 baht extra for having two girls in the room. Not exactly a fantasy not boring either but actually run of the mill if you live here long enough. Reasonably safe as the hotel keeps the girls ID until you all leave and only you know which room number you are in. Fact. Alot of the girls on beach rd are from Laos. They can't get regular work as the are here on tourist visas. So they can't work in bars or reastaurants. They have to freelance.

This is overblown like every tourist does on YT videos. Never happen to me and I was there 2-3 years all up. Problem I have is videos like this scare first comers, US is way more dangerous than TH. Glad you brought up the spiked drinks angle. Pot is not completely legal in Thailand. Recreational use is still illegal and the THC has to be very low when in food and drinks. Of course, the police do turn a blind eye unless people complain. So if you smoke, do not do it in public. The government is also looking at restricting the sale of buds, so double check the laws before you come.

I'm not quite sure that that's correct because there's cannabis stores and cannabis cafes there's cannabis pop-up shops everywhere and you can smoke cannabis anywhere you want to here people do it right out in the open they do it in cafes they do it right on Bangle Road they're smoking it everywhere.... it certainly was not like this 4 months ago before it became legalized or whatever they're calling it... Seriously mate there's cannabis stores everywhere there's people with little tables set up on every street usually you can't walk 20 or 30 yards without running into someone selling pot as for spiking the drinks I can tell you myself 100% that that is true because I've had it happen to me luckily enough I was with a couple of people and they were able to help me out of the situation but it definitely happened to me here at a bar right off of Bangla Road

Times like this it's great to be married; have booty will travel. Sage advice, buddy. This is ancient history, Samson and Delilah. Been there, done that. Hard to criticize though. Boys will be boys. The bright side of the scam world is you must subject yourself to them. Common sense, which ain't so common, prevails. Stand by the road with phone in hand, a guy on a motorbike will grab it, two menus, English & Thai. Sometimes 2 different prices, pay tab & they say bill is bogus; photo bill before handing it over. Menu in English w prices listed, when bill comes different price; different menu. Take a photo of menu before ordering. Same w rent payment. Too many more to list. Bright side is if you're scammed once then you're on to that one & not a major loss, more annoying than damaging. Usually a moments thought before getting involved with anybody with anything will be enough to smell a rat. At times I'm glad I'm old. Saves a lot of heartache. But all this crap beats the hell out of getting murdered in N.Y. 👍🇨🇷

Hey Frans I actually try to respond to every comment there are some that are just so stupid and obtuse ignorant and rude that what I do with those ones is I typically delete them... if someone disagrees with me or if someone doesn't see things the same way that I do I am at least kind and intelligent enough to be able to respond to them... however there are some that are absolutely disgusting and I just automatically delete them... Quite honestly Scott if you're going to Bar find a girl you are okay to take her back to your room I still wouldn't do it myself personally I would just go and rent a cheap room for the night that way you don't have any concern about it but for the most part the girls that are working at the bars are not going to do anything because they don't want to lose their job they don't want to get a bad reputation with the other bar owners because all of the bar owners talk here everybody knows who's good and who's bad... NEVER, and I mean NEVER, go to the room a girl "suggest", always use your Hotel room. I go to Thailand every year for a month, and I've been doing it for years. Also, Bar girls are 100% safe unlike free lancers so I would suggest a bar girl over a free lancer any day. The girls will have to leave their ID at the lobby and the hotel will call you before they give the IDs back to the girls to make sure everything is OK. The police also never goes inside the hotels (unless something actually happens) My advice? work out, this very important because if the girl is not "disgusted" to be with you, the chances of her ripping you off lower considerably, I'm not saying you need to be in great shape, I barely hit the gym myself, just don't be obese and take care of yourself. Believe me, a girl actually wanting to be with you will have much more fun and so will you since she will do everything in her power to make sure you have a good time. If you want a Threesome, make sure to tell the girls before you bar fine them. I sometimes bar fine 2 or 3 girls, we go have fun, drink, eat, and then take only one to my room, very few times all of them. That is my own decision though, I don't like having too many people in my room. The girls that don't go with me to the room NEVER ask me for money (I already bar fined them) and usually, neither does the girl that comes to me to the room. HOWEVER, I still give her some money, after all, its a business and its a way of letting her know that its not serious.
