You can change with lithium ion battery having same capacity or voltage rating. At first you must know the required input voltage of the speaker and the output voltage of the battery which you want to use. If same there is no problem using that battery and it will last longer than the low mah battery. If the output voltage of the battery which you want to use is more than the input voltage then it may harm your speaker pcb due to over flow of current. If the output voltage is less than the input voltage then your speaker may not work properly due to lack of flow of current, even there is a chance that your speaker may not start.
