I was lucky enough to win a Mars Hydro FC-E6500 with Smart Grow System a while ago b4 it was released. I couldn't get the app to work initially, but after resetting the light turning the knob from low to high quickly 3 times it flashed. I was then able to associate my phone to the light. I really enjoy the ease and perfect fit my new light in my new 4×4 tent. I can't complain about a free though. Amazing!

Mine linked up right away no issue. It did take bit to connect when I went back later though to adjust. It's not an always on connection I don't think, it has to wake up.

@@Justintime2grow OH I love the light and app. I believe mine was tested then given away, so it was connected to another phone prior to mine. I love dimming the light down b4 I go in the tent!I haven't experienced any latency you talking with the wake delay.

I live in a state that doesn’t allow cannabis growing. However, I do use a 4 x 8 tent for all my vegetables especially in the winter time because all Walmart vegetables suck. And one part of the 4 x 4 I have a Medic grow smart, eight, I grow watermelons, tomatoes, peppers, and sometimes corn, and that part. And the other part of the 4 x 4, I have a smaller light where I grow cauliflower, broccoli, brussels sprouts, and cabbages, as well as some lettuce sometimes. A light like this one would be great for that application. You don’t need a real intense light to grow those types of vegetables.

I think the best space coverage for this light is insider a 80cm×80cm grow tent. Too hot for a 2×2, slightly poor for a 3x3, but banging great even in an old cheap 80x80 grow tent. The app is the best, it works from another floor with bluetooth.. when changing from cheap lightning to fce3000 really need to keep everything optimized before going to 100%

Not too hot for a 2x2 if you have proper ventilation and cooling out side the tent. You can also dim it, dimming is a way better option than running something worse at max constantly.

@@Justintime2grow im actually dimming it in the 80×80 because my other parameters arent at the right level. By now my friend with the blurple light is going better than me with the fce3000. Trying with biobizz all mix soil and topdressing Guano and castings to see if with better soil i get to run my led higher. My ventilation is essential, a 5 watts tower vent, 10mm fan in entrance and 10 mm fan with carbon filter for the exaust fan.

Question, if i follow your recemendations i get spagetti-seedlings. In 2 days they are to long and fall down. Only when i double the percentage they stay compact. Are you only a reviewer or also a grower?

I only ran a 4000 plant commercial farm and have been growing for over 12 years, most of it posted online. I have documented my grows for years on various platforms. KZbin isn't cannabis friendly anymore or I'd still be doing it here. Some plants take more light but for the majority of the seeds I pop they don't need more than 150 PAR when they're young. I have documented this many times showing my PAR values on my seedlings, it's all that's needed until they get a little larger. The stretching could be more due to the light spectrum. More red makes them stretch more. You want your seedling light to have as much blue as possible. I actually start my seedlings under 1 CFL or LED house bulb usually rather than a large light source. I also have my chilled veg strips.

nice light it looks like you need to switch the center light bar because you have your uv leds beside each other they should be staggered.

Yeah I’d rather have them in the middle personally. But to be honest 1 fucking diode on each bar does nothing. It’s just for show. It barely even registers on the meter. Also there isn’t one way to hook this up. You can do whatever you want.

I have only used it to veg with so far. It's a sweet light but I would use it in a 2x2 for flowering. It would work in a 3x3 though. I would rather run overkill and then dim the light.

There seems to be a big gap in the middle because they expect you to mount the controller there. I wonder if the two center bars have more diodes on them to compensate for the gap? If not, then I would definitely move them evenly a part from the center of the frame.

You don't know that every LED company is fighting to even the middle to the corners? They're ALL too bright in the middle which is why companies do things like this. Did you even watch the testing to see how bright it is?

Only complaint is the app... You can't just shutdown the app while people are running their grows that require the use of the internal timers within the app.

I wouldn't even consider this in a 2X2, it's 24"x24" dimension LED, the popular 32"x32" tents would be ideal. If you hung this at 15" the #'s would have been overkill especially for autos which I max out at 750-800.

You have to be dialed in with the plants needs to run higher lighting levels and keep them healthy. Not everyone can do that.

Great work bro 😎🤙🇺🇲 I would love to see a review on the SUNRAISE QB-200. It's a super cheap AMAZON fixture for a 2×2 with a lot of red diodes, maybe excessive 🧐. I bought one and I'd say it crushed it at 10" from the canopy. Seems ridiculous but it's designed to be run in this way.🤞

I'm looking at the photontek sq300 pro, the medic grow mini sun 2(320w), or possibly a light Light like this one. I am sure there are some better lights etc but really it's a great light with awesome build quality along with really good coverage overall. I purchased my light during there black friday sale last year and paid about $250 for it.

I don't see the point of wifi control of a light other than cork sniffing. A 10 dollar timer is all you need to control your light. Every light has onboard dimming nowadays. You're paying for useless features just because that's what you think the cool kids are using. That light is meant to flower a 3×3. 300 watts in a 2×2 is ridiculous. A 125 watt light is more than adaquate for a 2×2.

I thought the reason for dimming is to limit the light it gets at different stages of the plants life cycle. I agree I use a 10 dollar timers on everything.
