I’m with you Eric, it would be wise to drop the limits to protect the resource for the future- I use livescope and love it but also am respectful and practice catch and release. In PA, the creel limit is 50 panfish per person which is too high.

We absolutely need to adjust the bag limits with the improvements in technology. Everything we have now in fishing equipment is better than it was when most the bag limits were set. Some lakes should probably only have a five panfish limit.

Up here in Colorado catching tank pre spawn females on my big custom painted jerk baits. Bait caster with 15 lb test. All fish are caught at night

I'm with you on conversation. I'm out on the water quite often and don't keep everything I catch. I keep 15" - 19" walleyes and let everything else go. I usually don't keep my limit either. I catch 2 and I'm good.

For common folk, 2 fish of any species per day. Rich people with nice boats should be able to keep 5 walleye and 25 panfish.

Eric, I agree with your opinion that the limit on panfish should be reduced to 10 per person. I believe those big perch need to be protected, and regulated, to ensure the fishery continues to produce. Hoping that the DNR will agree and tighten those possession limits.

You are spot money on with technology producing more fish. Same for long range hunting . where does it end? I was one of the first bow hunters to shoot over 100 yards with no loss recoverees and still not lost any game. yet it will happen to others. I do not hunt anymore. But I would guess with the tech. out there long range shooting and techno fishing will

I believe as anglers and me as a guide i think we need to police ourselves and our client's. As a guide i tell my clients that we don't keep anything over 20 inches. Unless it is a true trophy or it is deep hooked.

Pan fish limits are already adjusted, 10 on our local lakes and 15 on the mississippi, as far as forward facing sonar, if you spend the money you should be able to use it, no different than new boats ect. As far as walleye limits, I didn't see our conservation congress or our DNR, putting bag limits on any waters when it came to our native American friends and there spearing, why do we have declining walleye numbers?, further more back when they speared for actual food they used birchbark canoes, hand held and made torches, and hand made deer bone spears not bass boats, halogen lights and generators and aluminum long handled spears they spear in 2ft to 3ft of water not 5,6,7 ft of water, if you rule out technology for one better adjust for all, including walleye bag limits

Yes some steps in the right direction but if you really look into the data of fish harvest it's not the Indians that take fish out of the lakes it's the fishermen. There have been studies proving this but everyone blames the Indians.

I guess I should feel a little spoiled living in Michigan and fishing the Detroit River with a limit of six walleye 15” or bigger. Come on over guys!!! Even with FFS the fish still have to want to eat the offering. It’s fishing not catching sometimes!! 10-15 panfish in any combination is plenty per angler. Wisconsin walleye should be a slot fish 14”-23” with a limit of 3. Harvest the plentiful smaller males and let the big girls swim 😃😃. Great video once again E n A🎣🎣🎣😃

If people want to complain about lowering bag limits and all of the new technology we have has fisherman. How about not putting out videos on social media telling everyone where you are fishing and how you are catching fish. I guarantee social media is not helping. I have seen what social media has done to a special fishery. After all the KZbin videos the body of water i am talking about has declined severely.
